I sat alone in a cold darkened room, it was full of cobwebs and mildew, possibly mold in certain spots, but I didn’t care. My mind was blank; I needed time, time to think… time to get these memories from my mind. The memories of my daughter dancing in the woods with others, was it real? That’s something that I have to deal with, those thoughts, how could she? What is she? How of seventeen years is she leaving me and God’s eye for some DEVIL?

Open Mind: Chapter Eleven
Chapter 11 I did not look forward to reading from Emily Dickinson’s exhaustive collection of poetry, but I felt honor-bound to do so. At every opportunity I had, I would carry the book around with me. While the rest of the kids were sitting in the living room each night in front of the television, slack-jawed and drooling, I flipped through page after page of poems. Each short poem washed over me, nothing more than numbing waves of letters and dashes. None of it meant anything to me, and I couldn’t make heads or tails of what Dickinson was on about, but if it’s what Annie wanted me to do, I was determined to barrel through it.

This was a difficult night for Shawna, probably the worst one she had in a long time. Earliest accounts of the legend itself goes back to the writings of the great Turkish General Ikhtiyar Uddin Muhammad bin Bakhtiyar Khilji. Since then the story has been told to many, which has led to many different versions of it arising. This is an attempt to publish the most accurate version of the legend, the version that most likely is true to its original source.

If Watchmen Then Definitely, Lovecraft Country
We’ve all been there before; feeling empty, because we somehow finished all the episodes of a series we were watching not knowing what to do with ourselves after. Only to be left with so many questions and thoughts. That will only be answered; when another season comes out, but when will that be you think? Until then, you decide to start a new TV series to help the wait of your favorite show to return. However, picking a new TV show to watch after you just recently finished one; can be a little tricky. If you have ever watched the HBO hit WatchMen, then you should probably check out the Golden Globe nomination, Lovecraft Country on HBO.
