The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 29, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will make a surprising decision about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Soaps Spoilers reports that Nikki feels pressured by Audra after she raised questions about her sobriety a few weeks ago.

Nikki called Audra into her office so they could clear the air. Mrs. Newman apologized for snapping at her, and Audra apologized for overstepping boundaries. Audra vows it won't happen again. They agree to keep personal lives out of the office moving forward.

Y&R Spoilers: Nikki Feels Judged By Audra

It makes Nikki uneasy that Audra knows about her issues. She worries that Audra will lose respect for her, which could complicate their business relationship. Audra promises to back off, but Nikki cannot put this behind her, with Audra hovering over her, worrying about her sobriety. Nikki says she will feel "watched and judged."

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nikki closes the office door and explains she wants Audra to oversee the opening of the London Office. It will be a year's worth of work before they can open. She wants Audra to move there and take over the office.

Audra doesn't know what to say to Niki's silly demand. She does not want to relocate and leave Genoa City. She clarifies to Nikki that she will honor her promise of backing off and respecting her privacy. She doesn't want to be "shipped off" to London.

Y&R Spoilers: Audra Refuses London Job

Nikki thinks this is a fantastic opportunity for Audra and could be great for her career. Of course, Audra doesn't see it that way. She warns Nikki that shipping her off would be a big mistake. Nikki informs her it is not wise to threaten her. Audra says it wasn't a warning; she's merely concerned about her. If she ships her off, she will be alone without a COO to help her with the workload.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Audra points out that Nikki is asking her to move across the world so she won't be reminded of her disease. This will only contribute to her problems and likely will make her want to hit the bottle again. Feed up, Nikki tells her she's left her with no choice--she's fired. She will contact HR to put together a severance package effective immediately. She reminds her of the corporate NDA and keycard.

Audra heads out the door and tells Nikki it's been a pleasure working alongside her. She hopes she beats the disease. When she leaves, Nikki grabs her flask but resists the urge to drink.

Y&R Spoilers: Victor Learns Of Audra's Firing

Victor Newman (Eric Braden) sees Audra at Society and calls her over to him. Audra tells him that Nikki wanted to ship her off to London, and when she refused, his wife fired her. The news surprises Victor. Audra assured him that his wife was sober. Audra said she offered to help with "her problem," but that was a mistake.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor offers to find a position for her at Newman, but she refuses. She signed an NDA and won't use Nikki's problems as a bargaining chip for a position. She says it's been a clarifying night and has other plans.

"I now know what my next moves are," Audra says.
