'Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Audra Catches Nikki Drinking -- Will She Tell Victor?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nikki Newman's (Melody Thomas Scott) secret may be out of the bag in no time flat if she's not careful. Soaps Spoilers reports that Nikki has been drinking vodka, even bringing a flask of the intoxicating juice in her handbag to work.

On Wednesday's (December 13) show, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) mentions she didn't expect to see Nikki in the Newman Media office. Audra tells Nikki she heard about her seizure, noting she is glad she is okay.

Audra Learns The Truth About Claire

Nikki cuts her off mid-sentence. She didn't have a seizure. Audra asks about Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nikki shuts Audra down, insisting she doesn't want to discuss Claire.

Audra learns that Claire doesn't work at Newman Media anymore. She lied to get a job at the company to set a trap for her family. Audra doesn't understand how Claire could do that to the Newmans. Nikki calls Claire a psychopath, mentioning that her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) tried to kill her whole family in Oregon.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Audra cannot understand why Claire would target the Newmans this way. Audra felt that something was off about Claire but never imagined she was this unhinged.

Nikki Cannot Concentrate On Work

Audra urges Nikki to take time off from work to recover from that traumatizing incident. Nikki refuses. She wants to work to take her mind off her troubles.

Nikki's mind wanders as Audra fills her in on the daily rundown of Newman Media's business. She obsesses over taking that first drink at the lakehouse. Audra calls Nikki's name out to snap her out of what appears to be a trance.

Audra wants to know if Nikki approves of the celebrity blog idea. She needs her approval to move forward. Nikki can't think about that right now. Nikki says she needs more time to "get this out of her system." Audra wonders what she means by that. Nikki barks at Audra, pointing out she was talking about the kidnapping experience.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Audra understands. She cannot imagine how angry she would feel if this happened to her. Nikki refuses to let Claire and her psycho aunt win, so she must return to her life.

Audra invites Nikki to lunch. Nikki cannot do that just yet. She's not ready to go out publicly, especially knowing Claire's crazy aunt escaped. Audra tells her boss that it's essential to lean on others in such times. If Nikki needs to talk, Audra will be there for her.

Does Audra Know Nikki Is Drinking?

After Audra leaves to fetch Nikki's lunch, Nikki pulls out a flask from her purse and takes a drink. After hearing someone at the office door, she rushes to put it back in her bag.

Audra hands her boss her salad. Nikki announces she's tired and wants to go home to rest. Audra agrees. The most important thing is for Nikki to recover so she can put this behind her. As Nikki grabbed the salad bag, Audra smirked.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Audra will discover Nikki's drinking problem. She has two choices: telling her family or convincing her boss to get professional help.
