The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Eric Forrester (John McCook) is in grave condition. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has accepted his dad's fate. He wants everyone to let Eric die without pain and added suffering.

She Knows Soaps reports that John 'Finn' Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) believes he figured out a way to save Eric's life. However, it is an experimental treatment and could cause more pain. There are no guarantees that it would cure him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Ridge flat out refused to entertain Finn's treatment plan. He wants his dad to die peacefully and not hooked up to any machines. He doesn't think his dad wanted to be kept alive with machines.

Eventually, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones), Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), and Thorne Forrester (Winston Harmon III) convince Ridge to try the experimental treatment. That's when the next big Bold and the Beautiful storyline begins.

Who Will Take Over Forrester Creations

Eric knows that Ridge fibbed about him winning the fashion showdown. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Eric told Ridge that was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for him. he wasn't angry and felt gratitude for his son's sacrifice.

The question still remains: how will Eric feel about Eric's lie after he recovers and has time to think about it?

If Eric recovers and refuses to retire, how will Ridge handle that? That looks like what's coming to a head. It could be an ugly battle for the Forrester Creations' CEO chair.

Eric Vs. Ridge Again?

Eric won't want to give up his CEO chair. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Eric will want to resume his work with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman). He won't allow Ridge to shove him into retirement. He still wants to design, and as he proved in the fashion showdown, he still has serious talent.

Ridge was ready to take over Forrester Creations. He had plans to run the company with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), with RJ working with him on his line. But if Eric recovers, Ridge's place would be a designer and not a CEO.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric has been clear; he wants to run the fashion house. He doesn't want to work from his home. He wants to work in HIS office with his family under him. This may not line up with Ridge's vision for the company.

The Forrester Creations Battle Begins?

The battle of Forrester Creations will pit Ridge and Eric against each other. The rest of the Forrester and Logan family will choose sides, with many siding with Ridge. Donna could urge her "honey bear" to take time off and let Ridge handle the company. That could give Ridge an advantage in his quest to send Eric packing and into retirement.

It will all come down to what Eric wants to do. Will he want to work or fade into retirement, perfectly content to drink Donna's teas with honey and waste away at the Forrester estate.? B&B viewers are betting on Eric wanting to hold on to that CEO chair.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Eric and Ridge will battle for the CEO chair in a final epic showdown that will cause chaos within the Forrester and Logan families.
