Why is everybody so obsessed with OUTERBANKS?

If you haven't seen OUTERBANKS on Netflix I seriously don't know what’s going on in your head. it has been the talk of the society since it came out.

I personally watched the series in one day and I have a lot to talk about and I have so many questions comments and ideas to what’s to come for the next season, which is coming out next year.

Let’s start with the characters, first, we have John B. Routledge, aka John B. he is the main protagonist and some will say the leader of the pogues. if you do not who the pogues are I will get to that in a minute. john b is sixteen years old who lives on his own because his mother bailed when he was three and his father was lost at sea a year before the events that are happening int he series take place.

Next is JJ. JJ is john b best friend and by far the lowest of the class in the Outerbanks. JJ has an abusive relationship with his father that you will be able to see in the series, but in my opinion, it is not really acknowledged as much as it should be. he is also a member of the pogues.

Next is Kiara, aka kie. Kiara is a pogue but she is also apart of the rich part of the family of the Outerbanks. she is the only girl in the pogues group. she is very dedicated to the environment. she seems to have feelings for john b in the beginning but then it fades, I honestly understand the plotline their relationship, it could’ve been more developed in my opinion. it went form she does feelings for her to john be kissing her and now she doesn’t have a feeling for him anymore. I don’t it’s confusing.

Lastly, in the pogue group is pope, he is the smart one of the group and really wants to get a scholarship, which he doesn’t get at end of it which is stupid. his intelligence is way beyond everyone else’s in the group but sometimes he does dumbs it don for them.

The last main character is Sarah, she is the daughter of a kook, and she normally stays with the kind of people, she is considered to be the princess of the kook community. She and Kiara were best friends at one point but it did end, she ends up having a relationship with john b, which I honestly don’t like.

Kooks- are the wealthy people

Pogues- are a low life second class people

The plot fo the show is pretty simple. one day the pogues went sailing and they came across a shipwreck of a very expensive boat, they ended up checking it out and finding john b dad compass he had when he had got lost at. this ends up putting them on the course to finding a treasure that has never been found. while searching they have so difficulties. Sarah’s dad ended Stealing the treasure from them and sending it to the Bahamas while also framing john b for the murder of a cop.

At the end of the show, the kids find the treasure, but Sarah and john b, end up getting trapped in a storm while they were trying to sail out of the Outerbanks. they get rescued but their friends didn’t know that and they find out that the treasure they found is int he Bahamas where Sarah’s dad sent it to.

Thoughts and ideas I want for the next season

JJ and Kiara should definitely get into a relationship because their relationship throughout the show is amazing and she seems like the only person who cars about JJ relationship with his abusive father

Also if john b comes back, maybe he should break up with Sarah and get with Kiara, I’m just saying it made me really mad that john b chose Sarah over Kiara when they could have an amazing relationship.

Pope definitely needs to get another chance at the scholarship so he can have his dreams come true.

Sarah’s dad needs to go to prison and confess to killing john b father

The Pogues just all need to reunite

John b should get emancipated so he won’t any trouble with the social services anymore.

Overall the show is amazing while it does have its annoying parts it is very good and deserves to be binged.
