YouTube Play Buttons

Many people want to be Youtubers and be famous all over the world. The more subscribers you have, the more benefits you reach, the recognition with "YouTube Play Buttons" are from 100,000 subscribers.

What are YouTube Play Buttons?

Creator Awards (more commonly known as Play Buttons) act as a reward for content creators hitting a chosen number of subscribers as being recognized by YouTube. These are distinct from the YouTube Awards, which were intended to recognize the best quality videos.

The Youtube Play Buttons are the awards given by the platform to all you tubers (content creators) who reach a certain number of subscribers. And obviously depending on the category there is even more prestige and although it may seem that reaching a certain number may seem far-fetched, the truth is that with perseverance and patience it can be achieved.

When a YouTube channel has a certain number of subscribers, the company awards the content creator with a plaque, also called a "YouTube Play Button".

There are eight different plaques, depending on the number of subscribers and other achievements on the platform. Each one has a different color and shape and is personalized with the name of the channel and a certification. These are the different types of plaques that exist:

Silver Creator Award

Is given to YouTube content creators when they reach 100,000 subscribers on their channel. It looks like silver, although it is actually "silver plated" to cost less and also to prevent users from trading them.

Gold Creator Award

Is awarded when the youtuber reaches one million subscribers on his channel. Like the previous one, it is not made of gold per se, but it does have a gold plating.

Diamond Creator Award

This precious and coveted diamond button is only held by the 'big boys' as only channels with 10 million subscribers can boast.

And although the road can be very long for many youtubers, the truth is that you can indeed get the beautiful diamond plaque.

Ruby Creator Award

It is the recognition that YouTube gives to content creators with 50 million subscribers. Few have achieved it, and the first was the "PewDiePie" channel that currently has 108 million subscribers. In 2018, the "T-Series" channel achieved the second ruby plaque in history, and it was given a fully personalized one. It currently has 164 million subscribers.

Red diamond Creator Award

This button is only given to those who reach the figure of 100 million subscribers, and this figure blows our minds!

This plaque is only given to channels like PewDiePie and T-Series.

Benefits for channels with less than 100,000 subscribers on YouTube

In addition to the awards, YouTube offers a series of advantages only for users who, although they do not reach 100,000 subscribers, are just starting to create their content on the platform. Of course, they are not given any "plaque".

-Graphite" advantages: the benefit for channels with less than 1,000 subscribers is to be able to use Creator Studio (YouTube Studio), a tool that allows to manage and customize the channel.

- "Opal" advantages: for channels with between 1,000 and 10,000 subscribers, who can now be part of the YouTube Partner Program and start earning money if they manage to credit more than 4,000 hours of playback of their content in the last year.

-Bronze" advantages: channels with between 10,000 and 100,000 subscribers can access YouTube Spaces and take part in "Pop-up Spaces" events anywhere in the world, as well as participate in the "YouTube NetxUp" contest. In addition, they can market products on Teespring, an e-commerce platform.
