So, in some of my previous posts, I’ve talked about different stuff related to Marvel. You can find the links to those stories at the end of this post, by the way.

But today, I wanna chat about Wolverine! And guess what? We’ve got some wicked photos that just came out showing off his new suit in the upcoming Deadpool movie. How awesome is that?! Let’s dive in and check ’em out!

Who is Wolverine?

Let me tell you all about Wolverine. Get ready for a wild ride! Wolverine is one of the most badass superheroes in the Marvel Universe. He’s got a serious reputation and for good reason. So buckle up and let’s dive into his story.

First things first, Wolverine’s real name is James Howlett, but most folks know him as Logan. Now, here’s the coolest part: Logan ain’t your average dude. He’s a mutant with some extraordinary abilities that make him practically invincible.

He’s got this mutant healing factor that allows him to recover from any injury, no matter how serious. You can chop off his arm, and it’ll grow right back! Talk about a handy power, right?

But that’s not all. Wolverine’s got these wicked adamantium claws that pop out from his hands. They’re super sharp and can cut through pretty much anything, making him a force to be reckoned with.

With those claws, he’s like a walking Swiss Army knife, ready to slice and dice his enemies. Plus, he’s got enhanced senses, superhuman strength, and agility that would put an Olympic gymnast to shame.

Now, Logan’s got a pretty intriguing backstory. He was born way back in the 1800s in Canada and has lived through some seriously rough times.

He’s been a soldier, a spy, and even a member of a top-secret mutant team called the X-Men. Oh, and did I mention he’s over a hundred years old? Yeah, this dude’s been around the block a few times.

But here’s the thing about Wolverine: underneath all that tough exterior, he’s got a heart of gold. He may be a gruff and brooding loner, but he’s always ready to fight for what’s right. He’s got a strong sense of honor and loyalty, especially when it comes to his fellow mutants. And don’t even think about hurting innocent people on his watch. He’ll tear you apart.

In the Marvel Universe, Wolverine has become an icon. He’s appeared in countless comic books, animated series, and movies. Hugh Jackman played him in the X-Men film series, and boy, did he nail it. It’s hard to imagine anyone else as Wolverine after Jackman’s portrayal.

A comic-accurate suit in the upcoming Deadpool movie?

Hugh Jackman has been rocking the role of one of Marvel’s coolest mutants since the first X-Men flick in 2000, way before Deadpool hit the scene. He’s been Wolverine in nine films, and while some didn’t impress everyone (cough X-Men Origins: Wolverine cough), fans have always loved his portrayal.

But here’s the kicker: he never got to sport the classic yellow suit from the comics, even though they teased it in The Wolverine back in 2013. Well, rumor has it that he’ll finally don the real deal in Deadpool 3.

Ryan Reynolds, who plays the mouthy Merc in the Deadpool trilogy, posted a pic on his Instagram. It’s him and Jackman, both looking badass in their superhero suits.

We recently saw some leaked pics of Reynolds’ new Deadpool suit for the movie, but fans were bummed that Jackman wasn’t in those shots. Reynolds came through and showed us a close-up of both actors in their authentic comic-inspired getups.

Let me tell you, that suit is straight out of an Astonishing X-Men comic, and it looks freaking amazing. The pic doesn’t show Wolverine’s iconic mask, but his hair is all spiky, just like in the comics. We don’t know for sure if he’ll rock a mask at some point or if this is his look for the whole film.

Mask or no mask, fans are stoked to see Wolverine in the yellow and blue suit we all know and love. And here’s the kicker: this version of Wolverine is set before Logan, so it won’t take away from that epic farewell we got in the movie.

We still don’t know where this Wolverine fits in the timeline exactly, but being set before Logan gives us a lot to speculate about.

Now, here’s the juicy part: Deadpool 3 is supposedly all about the multiverse and might involve the TVA we saw in Loki on Disney Plus.

Rumor has it that we’ll see characters from the Fox franchises, like Ben Affleck’s Daredevil and Halle Berry as Storm. And guess what? Jennifer Garner is coming back as Elektra!

Final Words

The big man, Kevin Feige, confirmed that the movie will keep its R-rated vibe, just like the first two Deadpool flicks.

So mark your calendars, folks! Deadpool 3 is slated to hit theaters on May 3, 2024. It’s gonna be one wild ride!
