Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has enjoyed two grand celebrations recently with his daughters. His youngest adopted a baby and his oldest just got married. There is a possibility that both joyful events could end up being tragedies for this powerful man and his family. There is a chance that both of Victor's girls could end up widows.

Victoria and Ashland

When Ashland Locke Richard Burgi first came to Genoa City spoilers said he would only be on The Young and the Restless through the summer. When it was revealed that he allegedly has terminal cancer, viewers assumed he would die. Now he is married to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and still on the CBS soap. Some fans do not believe Locke is dying and only scamming Vicki. If he does have terminal cancer he must have taken time off from his treatment for the wedding and honeymoon. Of course,, he does have Dr. Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) on hand as he served as Ashland's best man.

If Burgi's contract was not extended then he will soon be leaving The Young and the Restless. He could succumb to cancer or another tragedy could strike. Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) has already given Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a video of Ashland confessing to his past crimes but exposure might not be enough. Gaines could seek the ultimate revenge and murder Locke which would leave his new bride a widow. Spoilers have teased that Victoria will end up alone and heartbroken and Ashland's death would lead to both.

Abby and Chance

Those who watch The Young and the Restless have been wondering about the fate of Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) since February when Boaz was fired. It was announced that he would not be replaced but there has been no closure. Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) went through the entirety of Mariah Copeland's (Cameron Grimes) pregnancy and birth without her husband by her side and may go through the rest of her life the same way.

Spoilers say that Christine Williams (Laura Lee Bell) will soon bring Abby some tragic news. She might show up to reveal that Chance is MIA or dead. Y&R needs to answer the viewers' questions and bring closure to the Chance and Abby saga one way or another. Fans are tired of this stalemate so perhaps Christine's news will end speculation and one of two things will happen. Abby will be reunited with her spouse or grieve his death and eventually move on.

This is only speculation but there is a possibility that both of Victor's daughters could end up grieving their spouses. Christine announcing that Chance is dead after all of this time seems pointless when the writers could have handled this months ago. If Ashland does have cancer and succumbs to the disease it will be tragic. If Gaines kills him Victoria will never forgive Billy. However all of this plays out will leave both of Victor's daughters without the men they married.

There is a very real possibility that the Newman sisters could end up consoling each other because their husbands have died. Abby has been married less than a year and Victoria is a newlywed. This would be a double tragedy for the family but it could actually happen. Be on the lookout for spoilers, updates, and breaking news related to the fates of Chance and Ashland. Tune in to The Young and the Restless to find out if Victor's daughters end up as grieving widows together. Two weddings in the same year and tragedy befalling both husbands is a bit much even for a soap.
