Unpopular Opinion: Ellen Did Nothing Wrong

Ellen Degeneres has long since been the sole lesbian symbol on TV. As a result, she has had to make sure that she portrayed herself as being kind, generous, funny, and overall loveable in order to not ruin it for the entire LGBTQAI+ community.

Starting around the beginning of this year reports began to surface that Ellen was kind of a dick. Celebrities who had been on her show revealed that she was a bit of a control freak, and replaced the crew of her show with non-union labor after their threatened to strike.

To that I say, so fucking what? She may not be a perfect human being. who the fuck is? It's because she's gay and woman that the media is now unjustly capitalizing on portraying her as a "crazy bitch" just because she acts like many men have before.

In the subtitle to this article I mentioned two men: Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. I could add so many more names of men who acted like complete assholes and also commited endless atrocitied and virtually got away scott free.

Kobe Bryant was a dick to everyone he ever played with and people admired him for it. He had this idea in his mind that he was superior, so everyone saw him that way. If a woman had acted in such a way they would be seen as a cunt, and most men and women would have no qualms with designate that label to her.

Also why is everyone celebrating his life when he was a rapist (there was plenty of evidence, google it)?

As for Michael Jordan, this man decided to wait until the guy who he was going to blame all of his woes on died so he couldn't rebut anything said in the Last Dance. That's a MAJOR dick move yet no-one is talking about it.

Am I proposing that Ellen is perfect? No. I'm proposing that Ellen Degeneres is a human being and a business-woman. Business people have to make dick moves against their staff all the time. As for the reporrts of her control-freak-ness, she runs a show. It's her job to make sure thing go as she want them to.

If Ellen Degeneres were a straight man no one would be out to "cancel" Ellen. This isn't just just affecting Ellen or the gay community, it's women in general too.

Tekashi69 and Chris Brown can beat women and Gucci Mane can go to prison to MURDER and walk back into their careers scott free. Meanwhile Doja Cat livestreams for incels and all of the sudden we're all out to cancel her?

Jake and Logan Paul still each have over 20 million YouTube subscribers. XXXtentacion, who openly admitted (there’s a recording online, google it) to sexually abusing young girls, and yet still has millions of fans even in his death. Name one woman who has the same fame and has done the same thing.

I’m not talking about Cardi B and her thuggery I’m talking about cold-blooded rape and actual damaging violence. You can’t, because women can’t do those things that reach/maintain the same fame as men do. Men control the narrative and those men don’t want women to have control over them so they take every chance they get to bash women.

Additionally if you google “control-freak” you’ll get news articles slamming powerful women such as Ellen and Katy Perry for being control freaks, yet praising powerful men, like governor of New York Andrew Cuomo. This is a subliminal yet insidious attempt at subduing women into non-managerial roles in society.

It's sexist, it's wrong, and it needs to stop.
