Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva

TLC's 90 Day Fiance had some interesting cast of characters on the show. When I first saw Darcey Silva, a 45 -year-old single mom fashionista from Middletown, Connecticut looking for love until she met 25-year-old Jesse Meester from Amsterdam on a dating app, so Darcey flew to Amsterdam to spend time with him and hoping that Jesse would propose until things got toxic and ended the relationship. Then she met and dated sophisticated freelance brit Tom Brooks until he cheated on her with another woman at Nottingham and Tom made a nasty remark on Darcey's weight. The only thing I missed out was Darcey's twin sister Stacey until I saw the episode when there was a scene when Darcey and Tom having a double date with Stacey and her fiance Florian. When I heard that TLC is creating a spinoff on the Silva Twins (Darcey and Stacey). I couldn't help but wait to watch to learn about them. I had to hope and pray that it would be way less whack than the spinoff The Family Chantel.

In the newest spinoff, 90 Day Fiance star Darcey Silva and her twin sister Stacey Silvia both juggle with their love life, their fashion line, their families, and, of course, living the twin life.

I watched the pilot episode on YouTube (it was for free on TLC YouTube Channel). It opens at Darcey and Stacey (the Silva twins) dressed alike like every identical twin would be dressed. It started off with an introduction to Darcey and Stacey how they were both born seven minutes apart, how they both went through marriages and motherhood at the same time, and then divorced from their husbands at the same time. Darcey starts telling her side of her journey with her past relationships with her exes Jesse and Tom and how it ended in crumbles. Then Stacey tells how she found love with Bulgarian hunk Florian on social media, how they dated for ten days, how they have gotten engaged ever since. The duo went to an indoor tennis court to play tennis unfortunately Darcey was failing drastically with her swing but it's okay she's hasn't played in a or did she? (who knows?). At the tennis court, they talked about Tom whose no longer in Darcey's life, and how Stacey is going to plan her wedding in 90 days.

I was surprised when I saw the scene when Stacey meets with Tom (Darcey's ex) it did kind of feel like it was a betrayal to Darcey and it made me feel like this man wants to get some TV credit. At the house they share in, it looks unique like every other mortgage home it looks like a thousand dollar home. Inside the house, Darcey is in the kitchen talking to her father that Florian (Stacey's fiance) might be cheating on Stacey. She showed him pictures of Florian with another woman.

Florian and the other woman

Honestly, that scene was deja vu like the same thing that happened with Darcey and now Stacey. It gave me a scartch in the head whether Stacey should marry Florian.

I find this whole pilot very interesting. I still don't understand why Tom Brooks appeared on the show (possibly TV cred., who knows.) It was kind of like TLCs Smothered except this is a twin sister version. Although I feel like this show should be on WEtv channel or Bravotv, not TLC. Other than that, I got to admit it was kind of enjoyable to get to know about Darcey and her twin sister Stacey. They seemed interesting reality stars I hope I get to see more what they got in store. Best of luck Darcey and Stacey!
