Tucker McCall is leaving Genoa City.

Trevor St. John is an American actor known for his television, film, and stage work. He has been portraying Tucker McCall on the CBS soap The Young and the Restless since 2022, but that run has ended. St. John recently announced on his official Twitter/X account that Tucker is leaving Genoa City.

The actor pointed out that Tucker goes and comes from G.C., which suggests he may return at a later date. During his two years on The Young and the Restless, Tucker mainly caused trouble for everyone and never really bonded with his son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Fans hoped Tucker would settle down and have a relationship with his son and grandson Dominique ( Rainn and River Ware).

Early Life and Education

Some Y&R viewers were hoping Tucker and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) would reunite once she had dealt with her DID diagnosis, but it looks like that is not going to happen. Now it appears Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are going to take McCalls company from him so he is in a downward spiral.

The soap vet was born Trevor Marshall St. John in Spokane, Washington, on September 3, 1971, which means the handsome actor will be 53 this year. He studied at Whitworth College on a jazz performance scholarship, is a talented drummer, and has played in various bands.

Television, stage, and film credits

Trevor St. John endeared himself to soap audiences and is best known for his roles as Todd Manning/Victor Lord Jr. on One Life to Live from 2003-2013. His television appearances include "The Vampire Diaries" as Dr. Whitmore, "Containment" as Leo Greene, and "Roswell, New Mexico," where he portrayed Jesse Manes. He also appeared in Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder, Just Shoot Me, Murder She Wrote, and Nash Bridges.

His film roles include "Crimson Tide," "My Soul to Take," Dark Skys, A Bread Factory, "Edge of the World," "And the Bourne Ultimatum" where he played the role of an NSA tactician in this popular spy thriller. He was also in "In the Family": St. John has performed on stage, demonstrating his versatility across different acting mediums. Specific details about his stage roles are less widely documented than his screen work.

St. John's personal Life

Trevor St. John has kept his personal life private, so there is limited information available about his life outside of his professional career. However, he is known to be married and has one child. St. John told his fans that he has other projects in the works and asked them to be sure to check out the film he directed, A Good Enough Day.Trevor St. John did not give his Y&R character a final air date, but there may be some closure before he goes.

H0ow wil Tucker exit?

On Wednesday, Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) told Billy Abbott (Jason Patrick) that Tucker had warned her that her mom was having issues, but she did not listen. Now Abby feels guilty that she didn't heed McCall's warning.

She is also upset that the rest of her family did not include her in her mom's medical situation. It's possible, although unlikely that Abby and Devon may appologize to Tucker and make amends before he leaves Genoa City. No final air date has been given, so fans need to be on the lookout for updates from The Young and the Restless.

Will Tucker leave with his tail tucked between his legs having lost all or will there be some surprises along the way? WIll Audra and Victor strip him of everything or can he bounce back from losing Gisade. He has parted ways with Ashley so he really has nothing to keep him in Genoa City so stay tuned.
