The Young and the Restless fans concerned about Sasha Calle and Tyler Johnson

The rumors began about three weeks ago that Sasha Calle and Tyler Johnson have been fired from The Young and the Restless. It was next said that they were taken off contract which would mean that the duo are on recurring status. Fans have been debating on social media as to what is really going on and will not know until the hiatus is over. There were rumors that Jason Thompson was leaving the show, and his characters actions seem to indicate this was true. His character Billy suddenly straightened up and now has a great job and a possible romance with Lily. The writers could be coming up with better storylines for Theo and Lola during the hiatus. There is no way to know for sure but fans are debating based on what has happened in recent weeks.

Kyle and Summer have declared their love and are moving on as a couple. Theo and Lola, however, have not been able to move forward. She is spending a lot of time at her restaurant in Miami, which has fans believing she will end up going there. Theo has lost his job at Jabot and even told Mariah that he has no future in Genoa City. This makes it seem as if these two were being written out of the show, even without the rumor circulating. The Young and the Restless will probably keep Skyle front and center and build them up to be a power couple. It seems like they are getting Lola and Theo out of the way. Even when she was married to Kyle, Lola really did not have a life. She spend most of her time in the kitchen at Society, wearing that gray jacket and black pants.

There were very few scenes of Sasha Calle dressed up and her hair fixed. She was basically in uniform and wearing a ponytail. it's obvious the writers did not know what to do with her except to be the antagonist for Kyle and Summer. If Tyler Johnson and Ms. Calle remain on The Young and the Restless, their characters would be boring together. They have had so many starts and stops that viewers probably will not be invested in them. These actors needed to have material to work with, but did not get it. Theo was basically nagging Kyle all the time and did not even change when he found out they were related. They will probably never get along and now there will be contention with Jack.

Fans are divided on social media as to the fate of Theo and Lola. Other than each other, there are no other love interests for them on the show at this current time. The writers could create a storyline for them that is interesting but that probably will not happen. There has not been a time frame given for when The Young and the Restless will resume taping so the reruns of classic episodes will be going on for a while. Viewers can only watch and wait to see how this will play out. One question that has been on the minds of most, is where the rumor came from that Calle and Johnson were fired? Could it have been true but Y&R was not ready to address it yet? Spoilers said both actors were troubled so that indicates they had no idea what was being said.

Daniel Goddard was caught off guard when The Young and the Restless let him go. When Christel Khalil returned to the set, Goddard tweeted photo's of their parking spaces and an image of Khalil in make up chair. One photo had the caption "Reunited and it feels so good." He truly believed that he and his TV wife were going to reunite but it did not happen. Goddard was let go and he said that it devastated him. Jason Canella argued with Eric Braeden on social media about the Rosales clan, and stated that they were there for the long haul. A few weeks later Canella's character was written out of Genoa City. Greg Rikaart was let go after 14 years on the CBS daytime drama and had no idea it was coming. It seems the powers that be do not respect the actors as they should.

This is when Nikki goes to Victor’s ranch for the very first time. The August 17, 1987 show will be shown on Tuesday. This features Nikki dreaming about reuniting with Victor once Ashley is no longer with him. On Wednesday, viewers will see . Drucilla finding herself in trouble, and Sheila distracting Scott. This program first aired on June 2, 1990. It will also have Nikki front and center at the Colonnade Room.

On Thursday the classic episode will be from April 14 1998. Victor and Nikki cannot are unanble to deny their chemistry, Nick and Sharon's marriage hits a rough patch and are having marital problems and Katherine interferes in Jill's love life. Friday will give viewers another wedding between Victor and Nikki. This one is from September 5 2002 has the duo saying "I do" the Colonnade Room.
