Rebel Moon Part 2 Review

Hey guys, how are you all? Today I am going to review a film directed by Zack Snyder, or, in other words, he is the creator of the entire universe of Rebel Moon.

Let us tell you that Zack Snyder is famous all over the world for his creativity and amazing cinematography, so when he introduced this Rebel Moon franchise, the expectations from him were sky high that it would be an amazing action or cinematography experience. But when Part 1 came out, honestly, I did not find it worth watching; I found it very boring. I felt guilty later as to why I wasted my time.

And I was not alone in feeling all this. If you look at IMDb, almost 1 lakh people have voted for it, and its average rating, even after including so many votes, is only 5.6.

So now, continuing the same series, its second part has come, called Rebel Moon 2, in which we are shown the story almost from the same place where the first part ends.

Rebel Moon 2 Review

To be honest, Part 2 was much better than Part 1. I hope you guys will appreciate the cinematography a lot this time while watching the film.

Zack Snyder values his artwork so much that this time in the movie, he puts a lot of effort into things like special effects, colors, costumes, and designing cool spaceships that look real. The actors do a great job too, and he uses anamorphic lenses, etc. All these things make the movie beautiful and worth watching.

This time there is strong action in the movie; a whole war continues for about the last hour, which was fun to watch. After some time, an R-rated version will also come in, in which a little more brutality will be seen.

Now all this is useless if the story of the movie is such that no one cares after watching it.

Zack Snyder has not improved this time either; the story has been shown like before, meaning it is boring and there is no question of connecting with the characters. Even though they tried to make us care about the characters, it didn't work.

While watching the movie, you do not get the original feel anywhere, which means at some places you will feel that you are experiencing Star Wars, and at other places, you will get the vibe of Dune.

Also, there is neither any thrill nor any good suspense in the movie; you just enjoy the cinematography running on a screen.

And the only thing to enjoy during this movie is its cinematography.

During the entire movie, there was no feeling that even if the main character died, it would make us feel bad. The characters were dying, and I was moving ahead, wondering whose turn it was to die.

This is a series whose potential could have been very high. Zack Snyder is a renowned director himself, and he could have made a lot of things, but he might have thought, Why not make a movie for those people who want only action and entertainment, or just keep something running on the screen, for whom it does not matter whether there is a story or not?

Conclusion

An audience that likes amazing stories, amazing characters, amazing concepts, etc. should stay away from this film because I don't think it will be able to impress them.

Easily skip watching this movie; it is not that you will miss some grand level; the rest is your choice; you can watch it for its action.
