‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers August 3-7

Soaps She Knows is revealing that love will be in the air this week on The Bold and the Beautiful. Many of your favorite characters will be dealing with mixed emotions and here is what is supposed to take place. Steffy will be recuperating from her accident and her new doctor will surprise her with a house call. Earlier spoilers said this will be a new love interest for Ms. Forrester. Fans are not enthused because thus far, the writers continue to have Hope and Steffy in a triangle with Liam and any romance with other men has not lasted. Spoilers also say that Liam visits his baby mama and tells her he would not have wanted to lose her. It sounds like he has some unresolved feelings so the new man may be in for some competition.

Ridge will reunite with Brooke, but slowly begin to recall the events in Vegas. Surely The Bold and the Beautiful could have come up with something more unique than Ridge getting drunk and not remembering that he wed Shauna. This is of the oldest plots in soap history. Thankfully Shauna is too old to become pregnant unless the writers lower her age. This would be a problem, however, considering that Shauna and Wyatt went to high school together. Spoilers say Ridge will naturally honor the commitment, to Shauna who truly loves him, but this is another relationship that viewers know will not last.

Ridge and Brooke keep going back and forth to different lovers only to return to each other. They always end up back together and knowing this will be the outcome yet again is no fun for fans. Thomas returns this week and gives the impression that he is a changed man. Only time will tell if he is sincere or still plotting to get Hope for himself. He for one will be happy that his dad has married someone else as he cannot stand Brooke. Soap Dirt suggests that Thomas may reconnect with Sally Spectra after visiting her in the hospital. These two could plot together against their enemies or have remorse for their past actions and fall in love yet again.

Spoilers say Thomas will be trying to prove himself a good father to Douglas, whenever children are allowed to be on the set again. He will go out of his way to convince everyone that he is a different man and they will all be watching him closely. Katie will find out that Sally lied about dying and will visit her. Katie is going to be pretty angry that Ms. Spectra pulled a fast one on her. Nothing was said about her relationship with Bill which is estranged because he kissed Brooke. If Ridge decides to stick with Shauna, then Bill and Brooke might go down their familiar path once more.

Spoilers do say that Quinn and Shauna will be plotting to keep a secret but in the land of soaps the secrets always come out. Surely they both know that Ridge will always love Brooke and Ms. Fulton will never be anything more than second best. Eric and his wife have been living quite peacefully so it's time for some drama. Spoilers don't say, but Shauna and Quinn both may end up kicked off of the Forrester property without one thin dime. Soaps.com says that if Shauna believes she will get Brooke's life and home, she is sadly mistaken.

The predictability of these couples is what viewers don't like and many hoped after the pandemic the writers would have come up with something new. Soap Hub is reporting that Brad Bell, has confirmed that mannequins and significant others of the cast are indeed being used. There have been no complaints from The Bold and the Beautiful, but the spoiler revealed that Eric Braeden who portrays Victor Newman on sister soap The Young and the Restless is dismayed. He was quoted as saying that cast members must stay away from each other which means no fraternizing or hugging. It sounds like the new normal for the daytime shows is difficult but in time the cast will probably get used to it.
