Clifton's true surname is Snyder

How well do you think you know Scott Clifton outside of his role on The Bold and the Beautiful. His name is really Scott Clifton Snyder and the talented actor was born in Los Angeles, California on October 31, 1984. He is the only child of Ron Snyder who is of "Russian Yiddish" descent and Faye Snyder, who is of Scottish ancestry. His professional name is Scott Clifton.

Clifton is also a musician who uploaded several songs to the internet, in his initial attempt to launch his music career. He later compiled these songs among previously unpublished material and brought forth his first EP album, titled Untitled. Scott later released a second EP, titled Unbeautiful, and also two full-length albums, So Much for the Nightlife (in 2006) and Mannequin. He later released Girl Go Home.

Clifton is an outspoken Atheist

Clifton is well known to be outspoken as an atheist. On July 19, 2020, he co-hosted episode 24.29 of The Atheist Experience with Matt Dillahunty. He also has his own YouTube channel where he discusses his non-belief and promotes arguments made by theists.

An irony in his life is that Clifton who portrays Liam Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful is good friends with a castmate who is a Christian. Despite their religious difference Matthew Atkinson (Thomas Forrester) and Scott are close and spend tie together away from the CBS studio.

When Matthew married Brytnee Ratledge last year castmate Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester) said the Holy Spirit was in the building so this was a ceremony of faith. Clifton also attended the wedding ceremony and in pictures, he was smiling and seemed not to be uncomfortable.

Clifton's personal life and additional roles

Clifton married his longtime girlfriend Nicole Lampson on October 20, 2012. Their wedding was attended by some The Bold and the Beautiful co-stars: John McCook, Don Diamont, Ronn Moss, Adam Gregory, Kim Matula, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and many others.[5] On May 6, 2016, they welcomed their first child, a son.[6] In February 2023, Clifton announced his separation from Lampson.

Clifton discusses his situation in an interview you can see in the following video from a year ago where he says at 7 he decided that God was like Santa Claus. This is a stark contrast to comic Kat Williams who said at age 5 he knew God was real and has never lost faith. This just shows how everyone's journey is different. Scott's journey includes Christians pushing Bibles and their faith on him but he has stood firm as an Athiest.

Will Liam ever live free of Steffy and Hope?

Fans of General Hospital love Clifton but do not like the way his character Liam is being portrayed. For the past decade, he has gone back and forth between Steffy Finn (Jackie Wood) and Hope Spencer (Anikka Noelle). Whenever his relationship with one woman sours he runs to the other like a ping-pong ball going back and forth. Viewers keep saying they desire to see so much more of what Liam is about and has to offer but the writers have not decided to oblige them.

Clifton is a soap vet who was on General Hospital from 2003 – 2007 portraying Dillon Quartermaine and was on One Life to Live from 2009 – 2010 as Schuyler Joplin. He began playing the role of Liam Spencer in 2010. He also had roles on the television series Roswell, Judging Amy, and Undressed. His additional roles include the following:

Life in General 2008 Fritz SnyderWeb television series created during the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike.Summer Nights2009HimselfSOAPnet promotional music video.
