The Bold and the Beautiful's current storyline regarding Steffy has viewers going in varied directions. There is much disagreement regarding the outcome of the paternity test. Fans are discussing this current situation on social media forums and there simply is no agreement as to what will happen next. When Jacqueline Macinnes Wood announced her real-life pregnancy, she had no idea of what was coming for her soap character. Wood has said that she was not even sure if her pregnancy would be written into the storyline because she was already showing and being hidden behind props and under loose clothing.

When Wood and her co-star Scott Clifton were told that their characters were going to end up in bed, both actors balked at the idea. They had no choice but to go with the flow and read the scripts they were given. Many fans were also troubled by this turn of events as they did not want to see a Steam reunion. Clifton and Wood also did not desire their characters to go down this path yet again, but they did in a big way. Only a few days after sleeping with Liam, Steffy went to bed with Finn. This was the first time they were shown together on camera but not known if this was their first night together.

Now Steffy is pregnant and B&B viewers are sharing their opinion on how they believe this situation will turn out. A minority believes the baby will be Finn's and that Liam will have a hard time accepting that Steffy has moved on from him. The majority of those who enjoy The Bold and the Beautiful think the paternity test will prove that Liam is the baby daddy and this is where more disagreement comes into play. Some viewers say that Finn will stick to the promise he made Ridge and will remain by Steffy's side becoming a stepfather to both of Liam's children. If this happens Liam will go nuts at not having his way and also being jealous of Finn.

Hope probably would not be able to handle all the pressure and walk away from her marriage. Other fans are saying that if the baby does belong to Liam that neither Finn nor Hope will be able to deal with the Steam bond. These viewers suspect that Hope will turn to Thomas and Liam and Steffy will get back together. This will leave Dr. Finn out in the cold and he would probably be written out of the show. A few of those who watch B&B seem to think that Hope and Finn might get back together.

Executive producer Brad Bell has not given any clues as to how this will work out and has only said that it will drag on towards the end of the year. He also mentioned that viewers will be surprised at how Hope responds to this situation. This does not give viewers much to go on and is the reason why there is so much speculation. It had been stated that Jackie Wood's baby was due sometime after the first of the year. She has not given her fans an actual due date but recently asked her Instagram followers to see if they could guess when her baby is coming.

Once Wood goes on maternity leave. Steffy will be out of the picture for a while. The writers have probably come up with something creative to explain her absence. By the time she is no longer on screen, the viewers should know which scenario played out as the correct one. Will Liam be the baby daddy or is it Dr.Finn? Will Hope walk away from her marriage and if so will she turn to Thomas or Finn? Will Steam reunite or will Steffy and the doctor live happily ever after raising Liam's children? Stay tuned to find out.
