Ryan could stop Nava’s wedding on ‘General Hospital’

Nicolas and Ava seemed destined for a fairy tale but it could turn into a nightmare.

Nava fans are delighted to see their favorite couple Nikolas and Ava are truly in love. The sparks have been there between them since they shared a plane ride and he later took a bullet for her. Nikolas saved her a second time from Valentin who tried to drown Ms. Jerome. The prince burst through the door of his home with a dripping wet Ava in his arms many fans said they cheered. They knew at that moment that the lost and tortured Ms. Jerome had found her night in shining armor. Each of them played a lot of games with the other but eventually, they gave in and admitted how they really feel.

Last week Nikolas proposed for real as their first wedding was not legal. He bent on one knee near a nurse's station at General Hospital and presented his once and future bride a Cassadine heirloom as an engagement ring. Ava said yes and the two hospital staff who were nearby clapped as a smiling Laura looked on. It looks as if true love is winning but longtime General Hospital viewers know that wedded bliss does not last in Port Charles. Friends and family are beginning to realize the duo are smitten with each other and now with Laura's blessing they should thrive.

Julian is no longer a problem for Ava.

In spite of all of this, trouble is probably looming on the horizon and it could come from any direction. William deVry has said there will be no return for Julian, so Ava's sibling will not rise from his grave and show up to hinder her future. Spencer could always return to Port Charles and object before Nava can take their vows, or a darker threat might be looming over the couple. Ryan Chamberlain is not comatose as everyone suspects because after Ava’s last visit he opened his eyes. He heard every word she said and is probably planning revenge.

Kevin’s evil twin thought he could bust up Ava’s first (fake) marriage using evidence against her brother. Now that Julian is deceased and the truth is out that leverage is gone. Many General Hospital viewers wish that it were Dr. Chamberlain who had met demise instead of Julian as they are tired of him continually causing trouble. Nothing seems to get rid of Ryan for long and many GH fans wish he would disappear. At this point he is more obsessed with Ava than he ever was with Felicia. He is also older, and more demented.

Ryan could be a threat to Nava

Several spoilers have suggested that he might interfere when Nava gets married for real. A prison break and holding a hostage is not out of question for the one-handed bandit. The fact that he was shown fully conscious indicates he will eventually be up to something and it probably has sonething to do with Ava. It’s possible the powers that he will allow Nikolas to marry his true love without any problems and enjoy wedded bliss for a while without interuptions from anyone. There is enough drama with other Port Charles residents right now but danger will always be lurking for Nava.

Ryan could escape at some point and perhaps hide somewhere in the many cracks and crevices of Wyndemere. There is no date set for the nuptials of the Cassadine prince and his princess but it could take place at anytime. It could happen before, during, or even after the double wedding that is supposed to happen between Anna and Finn and Peter and Maxie. Be sure to stay tuned to General Hospital to find out if either of the 3 ceremonies goes off without a hitch. The rumor mill suggests that Peter, Maxie, or her unborn baby will be shot by Dante.
