'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage' — Surprise Hit of 2017?
As Vin Diesel continues his hobby of digging up his late 90s and early 00s hits and resurrecting them, it can only be described as a natural turn of events that after the resurrection of Fast and Furious and Riddick, the next one was going to be xXx - set to be released in 2017 and probably the least popular of his three hit franchises that launched him into superstardom.

The (Foot) Claws Come Out For X-23 In Latest 'Logan' TV Spot!
The anticipation is at fever-pitch, and while some of you might rather claw your eyes out than see another TV spot for James Mangold's upcoming Logan, the latest one could be one of the most X-citing yet. In and amongst shots of #HughJackman looking old and Patrick Stewart looking older, it looks like the new addition of Dafne Keen as Laura Kinney, a.k.a. X-23, can insert some new blood into the film.

'Logan' Soundtrack Reveals X-Tremely Interesting Spoilers
As James Mangold's Logan comes clawing onto our screens, the comic book universe is at fever pitch as #Fox prepares to show the MCU and DECEU exactly how to make a #superhero film. The third in the #Wolverine trilogy, #Logan brings #HughJackman back as the titular bub, while Dafne Keen premieres as Laura Kinney, a.k.a. X-23, the cloned daughter of Wolverine. The film looks to be a family road trip with Patrick Stewart's Charles Xavier along for the ride, closing the trilogy as a perfect swansong to the past 17 years of Jackman as Logan. Promising to be Jackman's final time popping out his claws, many are left speculating whether Mangold would do the unthinkable and kill off the gruff Canadian?

A Flip Of The Coin: Billy Dee Williams Plays Two-Face (Again) In 'The LEGO Batman Movie'!
They say that patience is a virtue, and one man knows that more than many. It may have taken Billy Dee Williams 27 years for the pay off, but the 79-year-old actor will finally get to return to the role of Harvey Dent/Two-Face in upcoming The LEGO Batman Movie. He is the sadly forgotten Harvey Dent from Tim Burton's first Batflick in 1989, but rightly slots in among Aaron Eckhart and Tommy Lee Jones as the infamous rogue.

The Story Of The Lost Spider-Man Film And John Malkovich's Vulture
Is it a bird, is it a plane? Well, a bit of both — it's a jetpack-powered vulture. While Michael Keaton is currently soaring high as the villainous Vulture the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer, the road to Vulture taking flight has been a long fall from the nest. Homecoming may be the character's first live-action outing, but some may remember that we nearly had a very different Spideyverse, with someone else tipped to plume his feathers as Vulture — John freakin' Malkovich!

What Actually Happened to Jacob at the End of 'Fantastic Beasts'?
(WARNING: This article contains spoilers for the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. You've been warned.) Plot hole? Or an open ended story by J.K. Rowling? There is one thing that has left fans pondering over once they've finished watching #FantasticBeasts, and it's nothing to do with the protagonist, Newt Scamander, or even any of his beasts. It's about the "No-Maj" who accidentally stumbles into the magical world. That's right — Jacob Kowalski, the baker.

Bat's A Lotta Trouble: 'The Lego Batman Movie' Poster Has The Whole Gang Together!
While Batman v Superman languishes in love it or hate it hell, and the ghost of Joel Schumacher's bat nipples still haunts us, could the perfect Batman film be just on the plastic-bricked horizon? Bending of a Trope: How 3 Iconic Franchises Made the 'Chosen One' Cliche Work
We're all familiar with the story of the Chosen One. It usually starts with some vague prophecy about a hero and ends with the protagonist raising up to that predetermined destiny. It's an age-old trope we keep coming back to and for good reason, as it can serve as a wonderfully simple way for giving the plot focus and driving it forward. Unfortunately, it can also be one of the most uninspired ways to tell a story and a symbol for a storyteller's utter lack of creativity.
