First Look at Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker
A teaser released this week provided the first look at the upcoming Martin Scorsese Joker film set to be released in 2019. The increment revealed a mid shot of a man portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix known simply as Arthur. A clapperboard instigates the start of the clip. Accompaned by a presumed non diegitic audio. The Camera continues to push in on his face. A match cut reveals the same character this time in different attire as well as the fact that make up is now smeared across his face presenting a clown like appearance.

Why I Hated 'Avengers: Infinity War'
I stand in a ridiculously steamy shower typing on my phone because apparently, this is so much more important than smelling okay.

Why I'm NOT Looking Forward to the 'Downton' Film...
When Downton Abbey first aired in 2010, I thought it was brilliant. A star-studded cast, a relatively original story, some great characters. And, of course, an Oscar-winning writer behind it, in the form of Julian Fellowes.

'Glass' Official Trailer Breakdown!
I have no idea what took me so long to write this article, but BOY, am I excited to talk about this movie. Back in 2000, filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan was just coming off the success of his supernatural horror film, The Sixth Sense. And he released his next film, a superhero thriller called Unbreakable, starring Bruce Willis as a man named David Dunn, who discovers that he cannot get injured or be sick.

Why We Will Probably Never See a 'Speed 3'
One of my favorite action thriller movies of all time is the 1994 film, Speed, which features Keanu Reeves as LAPD officer Jack Traven, who faces his biggest challenge yet when a terrorist puts a bomb on a bus full of civilians that will explode if it goes under 50 mph.

12 Questions I Still Have About 'White Chicks' in 2018
I'm a big fan of White Chicks. I like that it's campy, crude, and sometimes so outrageous it's hard to believe they were allowed to show some of this stuff on the big screen.

10 Movies So Terrible You Need to See Them
Everyone enjoys going to the movies and everyone has a favorite movie, but what about the hidden gems that are really awful? Our group of friends used to get together once a week specifically to watch those terrible movies. It was my favorite night of the week. After a few months of watching a new terrible movie every week, we decided that everyone needs some crappy movies in their life. Watching crappy movies might lead to something you love or help you have a greater appreciation for movies that are being released right now. There is nothing better then gathering a group of friends and laughing through a cheesy movie. Here is a list of my top ten favorite terrible movies.

Superhero Movies: When Will They End?
Cast your mind back 10 years. Obama was running for President, Freddos were 20p, and no one of the common film going audience had heard of Iron Man.

Old Tricks In A New Book
James Wan is a horror icon, some may even say a staple, in Hollywood nowadays. He first burst onto the scene with the release of Saw back in 2003, and some would say his big moment where he really came into his own was the release of the Insidious franchise back in 2010. One thing that most people seemed to agree on though, when it came to Insidious (2010), was that the film relied on practical effects more than pure CGI and sudden loud bursts of music for its scares, and this made the film all the better. James Wan seemed to have found his gimmick. While Saw (2003) and its sequels did rely on the gore and blood factor for its scares and not CGI demons and ghosts, Wan found a franchise and fanbase he could call his own, now relying on practical ghost scares rather than the shock and awe of someone sawing off their own leg or falling into a pit of needles or having their head ripped open via a 'reverse-bear-trap' (Although if any of us saw Jigsaw move towards us on that tricycle, I'm sure we'd be pretty creeped out as we looked over our shoulder and tried to get out of there ASAP).
