Just think: this entire phenonemon started with a pair of astronauts tampering with something that they had no business even touching.
Clyde E. DawkinsPublished 8 months ago in GeeksRanking Disney Movies By Era
The Bronze Age of Disney took place from 1970 to 1988. Though it was also a solid era of filmmaking it is slightly easier to rank then the silver age. The Bronze Age however has arguably more nostalgia tied to it for Millennials so this list may be slightly less impartial. This era also contains 8 movies as this was before Disney had expanded and started cranking out movies like there was no tomorrow. So here we go, the Bronze era of Disney.

Marielle SabbagPublished 8 months ago in GeeksMovies I absolutely love, but I HATE watching
It's been quite a while since I've talked about movies hasn't it? You might be asking yourself now, "Dyllon, why don't you like watching movies that you like? That sounds completely contradictory.". Trust me I'm aware of how it sounds and it's not click bait either. I do love every single one of these films but every time they come on I just think to myself "Oh boy, strap in. It's (insert film here)". Again you'll understand once you start reading.
Dyllon RodillonPublished 8 months ago in GeeksPower Rangers 30th Anniversary
It's Morphin Time! I have a question for you. Where were you on the afternoon of August 28, 1993? I was in Pre-K for a little over a week and a half and also five years old at the time. If you grew up around this time, then your childhood was amazing. As of September 2022, 963 episodes of Power Rangers have been aired over 29 seasons, with the 30th season premiering on Netflix this fall. It'll be called Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury. As a kid, I remember watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers faithfully and had action figures and a White Ranger watch. I lost interest in Power Rangers for years, but around 2013, I got interested in it again by purchasing action figures, Funko Pops, and other items from Toys R Us and online. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers premiered on the now defunct Fox Kids August 28, 1993 and ran for three seasons. It was one of the longest-running kids' live action series in television history. Despite some criticism early on, fans loved it and three decades later, the fandom is still going strong, especially fans who weren't even born or grew up around that time. It wasn't just for kids. Us adults loved it, too and we would post anything Power Rangers related on social media and attend conventions, hoping to meet our favorite stars. I was fortunate to have met one Power Rangers star, but more on that in a bit.

Netflix’s recent spy entrée, “Heart of Stone”, tried to shine bright like a diamond, but ended up feeling more like a piece of costume jewelry. While its missteps are many, one particular casting choice stands out as a true missed opportunity: Enter the Alia Bhatt vs. Priyanka Chopra conundrum.

There’s a fine art to casting. It's about placing the right actor in the right role, setting the stage for magic to unfold. When the announcement broke that Bollywood sweetheart, Alia Bhatt, was stepping onto the global scene with Netflix’s “Heart of Stone,” there was palpable excitement. Fans expected fireworks. Instead, what played out was more akin to a damp squib.

In the ever-expanding cosmos of movies, “Heart of Stone” feels like that fresh pair of kicks you impulse bought online. Looks great, fills a void, but not exactly the ones you'd showcase in your collection. Netflix, with their relentless hunger to stay atop the content food chain, presents another flick that drifts pleasantly but inconsequentially between the binaries of “oh, that was good” and “meh.”
