The rumors are flying regarding THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS for the week of August 2-6. Spoilers all agree that this will be the time frame for Tara Locke and Sally Spectra to be exposed and that Nick and Phyllis will play a huge role in their takedown. By the end of the week, Summer is supposed to apologize to Kyle although spoiler alerts have not yet revealed why. Fan know to take spoilers with a grain of salt because they can be 100% spot-on or completely wrong. Whatever is going to happen has already been taped so now it's a matter of watching it play out till the end.

On Thursday Kyle overheard Tara talking with Sally on her cell phone ad he realizes she is hiding something from him. Viewers could see from the look on his face that he is displeased and also considering everything Phyllis has been saying. When Tara admitted earlier that she would do anything for her son, Kyle responded with a sarcastic "Really"? Mrs. Locke obviously did not catch the sarcasm soon after is when she told Sally that everything on her end was working out.

What will cause Summer to apologize to Kyle?

Kyle and Jack will get together to discuss the possibility of Phyllis being right about Tara and Sally being in cahoots. Kyle will lament that he has to tread carefully because he does not want to lose Harrison. Meanwhile. instead of coming clean Ms. Spectra will still be attempting to pull the wool over Jack's eyes. He has told her that he values honesty but Sally is a consummate liar.

Phyllis will fly to LA and interrupt a meeting with Angela Marchetti and Eric Forrester. She will even take a selfy with the two fashion moguls. She is gathering evidence that links Sally's promotion at Fenmore's to Summer getting the job with Marchetti seemingly out of nowhere. This photo should raise a few eyebrows and Sally will finally not be able to talk herself out 0f having a role in this situation. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers know that Ms. Spectra is the one who got the ball rolling on the job offer and enlisted Tara to make sure Summer accepted it.

Skyle fans are demanding these two have a fitting sendoff.

Jack, Kyle, Phyllis, Nick, Victor, Nikki, and Billy are all on the case in one way or another and Y&R fans are eagerly awaiting for Sally and Tara's house of cards to collapse. The most likely scenario is that all the puzzle pieces are in the right place and Kyle realizes he has been manipulated. He will either call Summer or hop on the Abbott jet and go see her in person. She may finally admit the truth of why she left town and Kyle will ask why she did not trust him rather than walk out on him.

Summer may apologize for keeping the truth from Kyle which is why things played out as they did. It's curious that Summer will be the one with the apologies because Kyle should be making a few of his own. He was so caught up in making Tara and Harrison feel at home that he did somewhat neglect Summer. He also missed key warning signs that Tara was a liar and manipulator. Continue to watch for spoilers and updates that give additional detail on the Skyle reunion as well as what happens to Sally and Tara once their lies are exposed.

Kyle and Summer as kids.

It's not likely that Kyle would simply leave Genoa City abruptly and risk Tara feeling with his son. Some fans of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are holding out hope that Kyle is not Harison's dad and that he can leave town and reunite with Summer with a clean slate. Be sure to tune in next week and find out how much of what is being predicted actually takes place. Kyle and Summer have been close since they were children and fell in love as teens. They have been through so much that it is only fitting that their current portrayers Michael Mealor and Hunter King have a fitting sendoff.
