Remmington Hoffman as Li Shin

Remington Hoffman is an American actor, producer and director who identifies as Christian and portrays Li Shen on Days of Our Lives on Peacock. Li first appeared on the series while it was still on NBC on April 22, 2020, and made recurring appearances. He now has become a more regular character and has had his own storylines.

Li was recently working with Meghan Hathaway DiMera (Miranda Wilson) and Dr. Wilhelm Rolph (Richard Wharton) who programmed Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) to kill Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash). Michaels at first said Shin had given him his orders but after Marlena Evans hypnotized Harris he said that Rolph and Meghan were responsible for programming him so Li was let off the hook.

Could Li be reformed?

It now looks as if the character might be redeemed and getting over his obsession with Gabby Hernandez (Camilla Banus) but he has a long way to go. Even his sister Jeng-Win "Wendy" Shin did not believe he was innocent of trying to kill Stefan and gave him the third degree. Gabby showed up at his apartment and pulled a gun on Li and told him to leave her alone and accept that Stefan is the love of her life.

Li told her he was moving on and had used a dating service that set him up on a blind date that very night. When he arrived he realized the woman he was to meet with dark hair and a blue dress was DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). At first, they were going to call it an evening but began to find out they have some things in common. Is it possible that a romantic relationship between the Salem District Attorney and a known criminal is about to take place and what are the odds that it will work out?
