*There may be spoilers in this article pertaing to Season I of the Netflix Series The Crown. Sorry in advance.)

After watching the Netflix television series Crown I now understand the importance of Prince William and Harry's familial relationship and why in some Royals' eyes, their brotherly beef must be squashed for the common good of the British people.

The Netflix hit TV show "The Crown", is surprisingly, historically accurate. There is a scene in which young soon-to-be Queen Lillibet has a moment of doubt. She is happy in her life as a normal woman with a new husband. The untimely death of her father, King George VI changed everything.

Before she gets off the plane to see her father, a royal advisor hands her a black dress and a note from her grandmother, Queen Mary; "Dearest Lillibet, I know how you loved your papa, my son and I know you will be as devastated as I am by this loss. But you must put those sentiments to one side now. For duty calls. The grief from your father's death will be felt far and wide. Your people will need your strength and leadership. I have seen three great Monarchs break down through their failure to separate personal indulgences from duty. You must not allow yourself to make similar mistakes, and while you mourn your father, You must also mourn someone else. Elizabeth Mountbatten, for she has been replaced by another person, Elizabeth Regina. The two Elizabeths will frequently be in conflict with one another. The fact is the Crown must win. It must always win."

This television series has allowed us to see the Her Majesty in a vulnerable and endearing state. It has also shown us the most important people in the Crown's life, family and her people.

Now, as the sun sets on one of the longest reigning monarchs time. The letter Queen Mary wrote to her all those years ago will ring true again. No one is really certain upon whose head the Crown will fall and that the rightful heir, Prince Charles will get to be king. His younger years were entrenched with scandal from his failed marriage to Princess Diana. And later, he married Camilla, the woman said to be the cause of the failed marriage.

He's also recently been in the paper for accepting money for his charities from not-so-great patrons. Prince William, Prince Charles's firstborn, along with his brother, Prince Harry however, have always been adored and loved by the people. And now it is possible he could be the one wearing the Crown. The two most important people in the monarch's life are his partner and his sibling (s).

If you are a fan of the British Royals you have watched the two brothers grow up. Every photo snapped of them showed a certain charisma and ease that their late mother, Princess Diana exhibited. Their charities were her charities. We have all witnessed their grief. Prince Harry has been very intergal in openly speaking about mental health. Fans of the brothers wish them the Royal happy ending we all assumed Royals receive.

We all pictured that one day they would be happily married and their children would play together, and when old enough take over their grandmother's legacies. That, however is not the case. Rumors have surfaced that Prince William does not care for his brother's bride and the direction he chose to take his life.

Now the only question is, will they reconcile the fued? Is it beyond repair? Not just for the future of the monarchy, but for their own family's sake.
