Insane Superhero Crossovers
There’s a sacred trend in the media: the holy crossover. It doesn’t happen often but when a crossover does happen you can be sure that everyone and their mothers will be made aware of it. You need only look at Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice or The Avengers to demonstrate my point. People go crazy over the crossover. There’s just something inherently fun in seeing two things come together and share the same screen space, whether it’s on the pages of a comic book or on the big screen. Perhaps it’s because we don’t usually imagine different characters interacting with each other, so seeing two of our favorite people come together is a special treat, like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup bringing together peanut butter and chocolate. With the Marvel cinematic universe turning superhero crossovers and a shared universe into the norm, we figured now would be the best time to go back and look at some of the best and weirdest superhero crossovers. Let's have a look at some of the best comic and TV superhero crossovers ever created.

Best Worst Movies of All Time
Like a lot of people, I love bad movies. Well, let me clarify. Not all bad movies. Some are insipid, or just boring. The acting is wooden or the plot is cliché, but sometimes it all adds up to be more than just the whole. Everything adds up and transcends how terrible they are to become kind of a glorious ode to hubris and failure. They are more than a bad movie, they become an object lesson. There’s a certain amount of pleasure you derive from watching someone present their creative masterpiece to the world only to realize they were doodling in crayon on construction paper. You can’t help but look away. Below is a list of some of the worst movies you can find, so absolutely awful that they are entertaining in ways the creators probably never intended, but that we love anyway.

Technology's Influence on Slot Machines
The future of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technology is backed up by data. Investment in the field often surpasses that of the majority of tech sectors. In early 2016, augmented reality super-hush-hush startup Magic Leap closed a $794 million round C. And every tech company worth mentioning (Google, Samsung, Facebook, Apple, LG) is pouring substantive resources into those still-weird-looking headsets. Case in point—financial data to prove an assertion. Slot machines are the most successful game ever created. Did we say “KaBOOM”? And mind you, this isn’t the opinion of the writer who pens these lines, nor is it wishful thinking. It is cold, hard data. Don’t believe it? Just keep on reading.

The Walking Dead's Daryl Dixon
Adapted from the hit comic series, The Walking Dead hit AMC like a hurricane with a tidal wave of zombies and gore. But, surprisingly enough, one of the most iconic things to come out of the series was the breakout success of one of the original characters created exclusively for the TV series. That was Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus. Daryl Dixon was created by writers Frank Darabont, Jack LoGiudice, and Charles H. Eglee especially for Norman Reedus, who they discovered during his reading for the role of Merle Dixon. While he wasn’t right to play Merle, they loved his audition so much they created Daryl.

Alan Rickman was one of those actors that just did everything. Movies, television, Broadway, his talents knew no bounds. Although he passed away on January 14, 2016, at the age 69, his memory lives on through his expansive resume. From Die Hard to performing works of Chekhov, he was truly gifted and was able to adapt to any scene. When news of his passing started to trend, the comments on Facebook were true testaments to his character and ability. Fans posted pictures with him from the stage doors of various Broadway performances including Noel Coward's romantic comedy Private Lives; others commented on his extraordinary performance as Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility and how that performance made them fans of Jane Austen; then there were the Die Hard comments. His role of Hans Gruber was unforgettable. In addition to his other accolades, he was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. With all the sex and drinking on Black Sails, it's a wonder pirates got anything accomplished. Weirdest Siri Glitches
The year is 1968. That guy Stanley Kubrick has released a new mind-bending film called 2001: A Space Odyssey. Quite a lot of people thought it was the most incoherent film ever made. But after all, Arthur C. Clarke said about the film, “If you understand '2001' completely, we failed. We wanted to raise far more questions than we answered."
