A Pact of Kingdoms Part III
Gaspar and Juba stood silently as they watched the training of new recruits taking place in the courtyard. Juba was still dressed in his robes but carried his spear with him, and a dagger on his left hip. He traded his slippers for leather riding boots and fashioned a heavy dyed yellow sheepskin cloak to protect him from the Apheasean snow. The recruits were getting schooled in the art of combat by a lean rough looking brute with long and tangled brownish-blonde hair down to his neck. He sported black leather trousers with calf high boots that were standard issue in the king’s army. The brute was training shirtless and didn’t seemed bothered by the freezing temperatures. His cool grey eyes were half focused on his opponent, half focused on the wine sack near the rest of his equipment. He and the recruit were in a training circle with wooden swords. The recruit was pressing his attack, but the brute parried every blow with ease while laughing. The crowd of recruits were cheering for their fellow comrade until he made the unfortunate mistake of knocking the sword out of the brute’s hand and connecting with a punch to the face.
Andrew ThomasPublished 3 years ago in GeeksIf This Then That: Pretty Woman
If you love “Indecent Proposal” another great movie you must see “Pretty Woman.” David Murphy (Woody Allen) convinced his wife to sleep with a wealthy businessman and he also loss the woman he loved the most for a while. The movies are similar but in my opinion “Pretty Woman” is the best romance movie for how it changed the general public’s view on sex workers and it made sex workers understandable and lovable. While indecent proposal was darker it did not make it a better film in my opinion. But it had all the variables to create the classic romance story that it is.

The recent addition to the Marvel Universe dropped earlier this year on Disney+ with it's first two episodes, immediately revealing itself to be one of the MCU's boldest and most unique instalments. In Friday's episode (26th Feb) titled 'Previously On...' the series delved into the chaotic Wanda Maximoff's (Elizabeth Olsen) past to discover what led to the creation of the suburban Westview viewers have come to know. With one episode still yet to be released this coming Friday (5th March), viewers are anxious to see how the 9-part series will wrap up the show and it's many yet unanswered questions.

Kristy AndersonPublished 3 years ago in Geeks‘Tom & Jerry’ Review — An Unfunny Misfire
You know that scene in the Tom & Jerry cartoons where Jerry repeatedly hurts Tom, and yet, Tom somehow keeps going? That’s what watching this movie feels like.

It was a crazy night. I didn’t know how much trouble I could get in, I knew LSD was illegal, but I didn’t know EXACTLY how illegal it was, or how rare it was to end up at parties, let alone people doing it. I had no idea. The back of the sheet had a painting, that Jerry Garcia did himself, so I knew that it was made with great care and love. I did it before a number of times, this was one of the most memorable, I had a sheet, and word spread through town that I was the man to talk to, within an hour, I had people I’d never met before who knew my name, and what they were looking for. I was 17, but I was far away from being in school, and the people I was hanging out with were still in school, and not quite used to this drug.

Black Superman: I'm Supposed to be Excited....But I'm Not
It was officially announced that WB will be rebooting Superman yet again. This time with J.J. Abrams in the producer chair and acclaimed writer Ta-Nehisi Coates helming the story. As a Black male comic-book fan, huge Superman nerd, fan of all of Coates's work especially his run on Black Panther, this should be the holy grail.
Omari RichardsPublished 3 years ago in Geeks ‘The Young and the Restless’ viewers disapprove of Abby’s baby storyline
Viewers of ‘The Young and the Restless’ are overwhelmingly disappointed with the current storyline surrounding Abby Newman. Most fans find the entire situation bizarre. First, Abby is unable to have a baby and then Chance cannot produce sperm. Mariah decides to become Abby's surrogate and they write her husband out of the storyline and have her living alone in the Chancellor mansion. Chance writes a letter telling his wife to go ahead and proceed with having a child through a sperm donor, and then Nina says she is excited about becoming a grandmother.

Stephanie J. BradberryPublished 3 years ago in GeeksWhat Really Happened on WandaVision?
So, fans, we're down to one episode left of the Disney + series and this eighth and exciting episode ended with more of a cliffhanger than any of the previous episodes. At the end of the episode, we finally understand what really happened in the post Endgame world we were left with and how Vision came to be back in Westview. We know now, that Agatha Harkness has been manipulating things behind the scenes but it certainly doesn't look like she is the only one. Wanda has done a fair amount of manipulating along the way, creating a world that her grieving, fractured and traumatized mind could live within, finding a sort of peace after everything we knew she had gone through. So let's take a look at what we've learned.
Jason Ray MortonPublished 3 years ago in GeeksThe Push by Ashley Audrain
The Push is not usually the kind of book that I reach for. However, that being said, I am very glad I grabbed this book. It is a candid book; you see moments where the main character, Blythe, is at her best, but many parts of the book detail her struggles adjusting to life and dealing with grief. This book is a very emotional read, and, because of this, I will warn that this book is not for everyone. If you are wanting something lighthearted with a happy ending, do not read this book.
