Goodbye Earth Netflix Review

Netflix's next big Koran show, Goodbye Earth, is now in front of all of us. I have seen it, and stay tuned to this review ride to know whether you should also watch it or not.

Goodbye Earth is a webtoon-based sci-fi dystopian show that takes us into a worrying situation that means an asteroid is about to hit the Earth, and the people living on the Earth have only 200 days left to live. The scariest thing is that there is no cure for it, which means that this upcoming incident cannot be stopped in any way.

So now to know what happens next, you will have to watch this show, which has come on Netflix and has brought with it a total of 12 episodes. The length of each episode is around one hour, which means this whole show is 12 hours long.

Goodbye Earth Netflix Review

Now, friends, if I wanted to review this show for you in one line, I would just say that it has a very good plot but very poor execution. With characters having just 200 days to live, you'd expect to see them facing all sorts of survival challenges. But instead, only conversions are used. If the makers had focused more on the survival aspect, it could've been a top-notch show.

I mean, this show should have gone into the action zone; there should have been some thrilling moments; even an amazing explosion should have been seen, but no, the makers did not consider it necessary to show something like this, but they felt it necessary to show such multiple subplots, which only made the show lengthy.

Suppose there are only 200 days left in your life. Then what will you do? Most probably either help someone or show humanity, but in this show, such a situation of child trafficking is going on. Oh, friend, there are only 200 days left. How much will you earn? Why are you earning? And the fools have added a revenge drama to it too.

Apart from this, there is an abusive relationship between a father and daughter and a mother who is a single parent raising her children.

Abusing a man every time to show a strong female character does not make sense.

So many subplots you get to see will make you wonder whether you are watching a drama show or any sci-fi dystopian show, meaning you are going to be completely confused.

Let me tell you, sometimes the story is going on in the past or sometimes in the present, and all this is happening so much that at one point you will not be able to understand whether what you are seeing on the screen is past or present.

If everything had gone straight, then the show would have been effective in that scenario as well, but no, the makers had a special desire to show everything, and in the process of showing everything, they spoiled a good concept.

In the end, I would like to give you a good suggestion: skip this show; otherwise, you will feel nothing but disappointed. I guarantee.

Yes, the production value of the show is quite good, and visually, the show is superb to watch.

Apart from this, the art design or set design of the show is good; technically, the show is quite good; the cinematography is also good; and the BGM is quite impressive.

Conclusion

Overall, Goodbye Earth is disappointing in every aspect. This is my opinion; however, share yours in the comments.

In terms of parental guidance, there are many kissing scenes present in the show and one or two adult scenes too, and the Hindi dubbing of the show is also very good.

So this was my exploration of Netflix's new Korean drama, Goodbye Earth. Your support means the world to me, so please consider subscribing!

See you.
