On Thursday's episode of General Hospital, it was as if Pandora's box was opened. Numerous storylines got a boost and it looks like November sweeps is going to be riveting. The good people of Port Charles usually get things going around Halloween and once again Ryan Chamberlain is in the mix. The demented doctor has ordered Ava to divorce Nikolas or he will give Sonny the letter from Nelle, that incriminates Julian. Ava now has a new plan to fool Kevin's evil twin and has set things in motion. She is going to try to deceive him by presenting him with the fake divorce papers that Nikolas gave her.

Nikolas has figured out that Ryan is blackmailing Ava and that Nelle may have given Dr. Chamberlain something incriminating on Julian. Nikolas offered to use his resources to get Julain out of town with a new identity all because he loves Ava. Meanwhile, Franco was hospitalized and Portia is seeking counsel from Terry who is an oncologist. This could probably open up a cancer storyline but Mr. Baldwin could keep his situation secret from Liz and her boys. Ned is hiding the fact that he slept with Alexis from Olivia and viewers know this will cause problems when it is revealed. Brook Lynn knows and she might slip and tell it.

Taggart is back and on Thursday was wearing a Darth Vader costume so he could spy on Trina, Joss, Dev, and Cameron. She has no idea the man she took a phot with is her father. His return will cause all kinds of drama as Portia, and her daughter will be furious as will Curtis and others. Both Jordan and Marcus will be called on the carpet for keeping this quiet. Spinelli is having a hard time pretending to like Peter and Mr. August got a mystery phone call. The woman said she was Helena Cassadine, but it could always be Obrecht trying to set him up. Either way, his life will be disrupted because of all of his sins.

Dev is manipulating Cam and Josslyn and causing them to argue. All of this is because he wants Ms. Jax for himself. He is hoping Trina and Cameron will hit it off and he can have Joss who he is falling for. No one knows that Dante is in Port Charles on assignment and that he is working to bring Peter to justice. Agent Falconeri has no idea that it is Liesl Obrecht who is really his boss. Anna does not know that Jason, Spinelli, and Robert have not given up their desire to see Peter pay for his crimes. Maxie has no idea that the father of her child is a cold blooded killer and no different from his dad, Faison.

The rumors of William deVry and Emme Ryan being fired have caused man fans to revolt. Neither actor has directly addressed the rumors so fans will be waiting to see what happens with them. Several months ago Julian's portrayer said he believed the handwriting was on the wall for his character. he pointed out that there was so much dirt on Mr. Jerome that he expected to be written out. Julian knew that Wiley was Michael's child and at least four Port Charles residents can turn him in. If Nelle is truly dead then she cannot say a word, but Britt, Brad, Brook Lynn and Ryan all know details.

This will be a shocking revelation and many viewers suspect Sonny will have Julian killed when he finds out. Lulu thinks she is standing with Dustin for now but spoilers suggest that she will break his heart and reunite with Dante. Jackie and Finn probably will not be able to keep their affair secret from Chase and this is going to tear him up inside. These are but a few of the storylines that will be front and center as General Hospital goes towards Halloween and into November sweeps. Be sure to look for some type of wierd action on Friday ad Monday related to Halloween.
