GH fans want Taggertin on the action

Marcus Taggert f(Real Andrews) first arrived in Port Charles in 1996 as a troublemaker who grew up in Brooklyn and was befriended by Deke Woods who was Sonny Corinthos's abusive stepfather. Taggert admired his mentor, a police officer, so much that he decided to go into law enforcement. When Deke was shot to death, Marcus blamed Sonny and became a PCPD detective and causing problems for Sonny every chance he got. Taggert left town in 1997 and Andrews returned to Genera Hospital from 1998-2003.

The actor reprised his role in 2020 and he and Sonny now have an understanding, it was revealed that he was the ex-husband of Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) and the father of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). General Hospital viewers have noticed that it is Curtis Ashford (DonnellTurner) who has been in Trina's life on a regular basis through all of her recent trials and he could turn out to be Trina's bio dad. Even if that is true Taggert is the man who raised her and yet he is never around. GH fans are saying on social media that Marcus should be in the loop and have a role in rescuing the daughter he raised for close to 2 decades.

Real Andrews is not involved in Port Charles on a regular basis

Taggert showed up at Portia's wedding to Curtis and he and Trina spoke briefly. He said he would always be her dad but he is nowhere around in her darkest hour. Curtis is planning to rescue the young lady who may or may not be his biological daughter but the man she knew as her dad for close to 20 years has not been filled in about the danger she is in. Not one person has even mentioned telling Marcus what is going on. The only details General Hospital fans have about him are that he is supposed to be staying at Jordan Ashford's (Tanisha Harper's) place.

General Hospital viewers shave no idea how the detective is making a living and he does not interact with anyone in Port Charles but only pops up every now and again. Trina snuck on board the Haunted Star where Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is holding Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves) hostage along with his brother Baby Ace and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

Who will be the hero to save Trina and the others?

Taggert should be in the loop and if anyone should be trying to find Trina he should be involved yet neither Jordan nor Portia thought to call him. General Hospital s viewers found it hilarious when Taggert, Curtis, and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) surrounded Spencer during the wedding reception and he asked "Can I help you, Gentlemen"? Even Marshall has been giving advice and offering a shoulder for Trina to lean on as a grandfather but her dad remains MIA.

Spoilers have not mentioned Trina's dad returning anytime soon and no one has brought up getting DNA testing for a while. For all intents and purposed Taggert will always be Trina's father and he should be in the loop on what is going on with her. Even if he is working out of town or undercover or Real Andrews is not available to tape episodes someone should at least mention Taggert or have made a phone call to let him know what is going on.

The spoiler alerts all suggest that Curtis will be the big hero and he might get some help from Drew Cain (Cameron Matthison). It would make more sense if Marcus Taggert and Curtis were working together to save "their" daughter. Be on the lookout for updates, and breaking news related to Trina's predicament and whether or not the man who raised her will get to play a part in her rescue.
