Damsel Review
Now, if I wanted to review the movie Damsel for you in one line, I would only say that it is a decent movie. I mean, first of all, you will not see any strength or newness in the story, which means the story is not surprising.
The story is really basic, and it's told in a simple way without any surprises. I think there should've been some twists to make it more interesting. The ending doesn't give you any new feelings or excitement.
The screenplay has its ups and downs. When Elodie first enters the cave, the excitement is at its peak, but as the story progresses towards the climax, the thrill seems to fade away. I was fully engaged in the movie until the dragon appeared; even then, there was still excitement. However, a mistake was made when they gave the dragon the ability to speak. Some viewers might enjoy this without caring much about logic, but for a more mature audience, it might be hard to accept.
I personally liked the production value of the movie. Apart from this, its VFX is also absolutely top-notch. Yes, there are some scenes where you will find a lack of VFX, but overall, the experience of VFX is very good. The dragon design was also good.
The production value of the movie is amazing, and you also get to hear a very good and intense BGM.
Talking about the acting of actors, Millie Bobby Brown looked very beautiful, and her work was also very good.
Conclusion
In short, if you are that audience member who likes to watch anything with their brain switched off, i.e., fantasy kind of content, and if your children want to watch something, then I guess this movie is for you.
The movie is very neat and clean; there is no vulgarity, nude scenes, or abusive words, so yes, you can watch this movie with your family. If I talk about its Hindi-dubbed version, then that is also good.
So this is my review of the new movie Damsel on Netflix. By the way, have you seen the Damsel movie? If yes, then do not forget to share in the comments, and don't forget to give me a like and subscribe.
