Supersex 2024 Review: Binge-Worthy or Cringe-Worthy?

So see, tomorrow a biographical drama series of a porn starrer has been released on the platform of Netflix, whose name is Supersex, and how successful it will be in bringing out your desires. I will make everything clear for you, like butter.

This show has a total of seven episodes. The length of each episode has been kept between forty-five and fifty minutes. This show has also been brought in  Hindi, and the Hindi dubbing has no doubt been done very well. However, Netflix takes good care of these things. 

A major important thing: let me tell you that if you mostly enjoy the content with your family, then keep in mind that you should not watch this show with the family because a lot of nudity, adult scenes, etc. are shown in the show because it is based on the life of a pornstar.

I'm not sure how much of the pornstar's real life is in the show. It's a biographical drama, so they tried to show everything about the person, but we can't be sure what's real and what's not.

The story follows the character of Rocco Tano. He belonged to a very normal family. He lived in the Italian city of Ortona. His family consisted of his mother and one or two brothers, but he was very close to his brother Tommy.

Rocco was very fantasized about the story of superheroes, and he knew that some superhero-like things were going to happen in his life too, and this fantasy changed his life one day because Rocco Tano would one day become the biggest pornstar in porn history. So, how does he become? How does Rocco Tano convert into Rocco Siffredi? To know all about his life and what happened to his brother Tommy, you will have to experience this biographical drama.

Supersex Series Review

In my view, the show had a promising story, but the director, unfortunately, couldn't bring out its full potential, which means this biographical drama felt like an okay type to me. Netflix has previously made documentaries on many pornstars and their lifestyles. If I had to judge this show from their point of view, I would say that it does not present much of anything extraordinary.

If you're into this kind of content, you'll find what you're looking for here. However, if you expect to stay hooked for seven episodes, experience intensity, or have a fun time, this show might disappoint.

The first few episodes were gripping, but it started dragging later on, and I found myself just waiting for it to end. Personally, I believe it would have been better as a movie, providing a tighter narrative and screenplay, which seem lacking in this series.

You can definitely watch this show. I am not saying that it is bad; you should not watch it.

The adult scenes will keep you entertained. If you are going to watch this show for adult-related things, there are one or two intense moments; there are thrilling moments too; and there is a little bit of mystery and suspense regarding the character of Tommy. There are some normal beats that work to keep you engaged in the story.

I want to highlight the outstanding performance of the child actor who portrayed Rocco's character in the first episode. He exuded innocence, and his heartfelt performance earned a standing ovation from me.

The performances of all the other actors were good, and I would like to tell them to keep up the good work.

Conclusion

So overall, while concluding my thoughts, I would just say that if you want to know about Rocco Siffredi, how did he become a pornstar? How did destiny take him on a different journey? If you are interested in knowing, then you can definitely watch this series once; otherwise, I would not recommend much that you immerse yourself in this show.
