Amar Singh Chamkila Ending Explained

Welcome back, guys! How are you all? Finally, Imtiaz Ali's or Diljit Dosanjh's new film, Amar Singh Chamkila, is out on Netflix. What is the story of this film? What happened in the ending and what was the overall conclusion of Chamkila's tragedy will be discussed, so join us.

Look, if you have a problem with spoilers, then go away from here. I do not want your overall experience of watching the film to be spoiled in any way.

If you do not have a problem with spoilers, then keep reading.

Story

So the movie tells the whole story of Amar Singh Chamkila, who lived in a small village in Punjab and was a singer.

All the time, Chamkila Ji had only music in his mind. He had loved music very much since childhood, but he was working in a factory making socks because he belonged to a very poor family, and his caste was also considered very low caste at that time.

So when Chamkila Ji grew up, she started taking steps towards the music industry, but there was a saying about Chamkila Ji that she used to write very obscene songs.

Now Chamkila Ji believes that he has seen the same things around him since childhood, which is why he expresses the same things in his songs.

Chamkila Ji said that people listen to him so much because they find his music relatable; they are able to connect with him, and that is why Amar Singh Chamkila Ji was a big hit.

At one time, Chamkila Ji had become so famous that he had made his place at the top of the list of the highest-selling artists in Punjab.

The amount of money he used to get for one show was unmatched by anyone else; many shows used to come to him, and his albums were sold in black, too, at three to four times higher rates.

Chamkila Ji had become such a super duper hit, but the more a person becomes a hit, the more enemies he gets, so something similar happened with Chamkila Ji; his fellow singers became jealous of him because Chamkila Ji's albums started becoming big hits in the market.

There was also a section of the audience who did not like Chamkila Ji's songs at all. They felt that this singer was destroying the society of Punjab.

But even more, people loved Chamkila Ji, due to which he grew a lot and became an amazing artist. He performed his shows at the international level as well.

After all this, something happened: one day Chamkila Ji was going to do a show somewhere along with his wife Amarjot Kaur, and as soon as both of them got out of the car, someone opened fire on both of them.

Amar Singh Chamkila Ending Explained

Now the biggest conspiracy was who shot Amar Singh Chamkila Ji because he did not have just one enemy, but there were many, some of whom were quite powerful.

Chamkila Ji used to receive threats from outside India to put full stops on the songs he was singing, but Chamkila Ji knew that he could not do anything other than sing, and he thinks that if he leaves music, then he will return to his poverty again.

So Amar Singh Chamkila Ji does not give up his courage and has to suffer the consequences when one day he is going to perform in a show, and as soon as he gets out of his car, some people kill him and his wife.

Now, who killed Chamkila Ji could not be proved; who is the real culprit is not known to date, and if you research this topic, you will find that no one has been arrested in Chamkila Ji's case, and the case was closed at that time.

Standing ovation to Imtiaz Ali, sir. This film has been made very beautifully, meaning the attention to detail given is on point.

Real photos are also shown in the film of Amar Singh Chamkila Ji, his wife Amarjot, and Amar Singh Chamkila Ji's friends.

And Imtiaz Ali Sir has replicated it exactly in today's time, meaning from the costumes to the bedsheet behind the stage.

Overall, what I mean to say is that the film has been made quite real, whether it is the era of that time, whether it is the people of that time, whether it is the show events of that time, whether it is the atmosphere there, or whether it is the thinking of the people there. I salute these filmmakers.

The music in this film has been given by AR Rahman, and no doubt it is top-notch.

Songs can also be heard in the background; their melody is excellent, and at the same time, the picturization that has been done in the film is quite amazing.

If we talk about the main attraction of the picture, then let me tell you that Diljit Dosanjh has done top-notch award-winning work, and at least if he does not get one or two awards for this picture, then it does not do justice to him.

Conclusion

In the end, I would just say that you should watch this film by Amar Singh Chamkila. It's worth checking out, especially if you like watching musical dramas or Imtiaz Ali movies.

From the very beginning, I like watching movies where a person travels from zero to infinity, and everything shown in this movie is inspired by real events.

So if you are looking for a movie based on real events, Amar Singh Chamkila will prove to be the best choice for you. It is available on Netflix.

Guys, that's all for now. If anything is lacking on this topic, then definitely share it so that my improvement continues.
