10 Worst Switch Games So Far
If you know me, you know how obsessed I am with my Nintendo Switch. I love the little system; getting to play current gen games on both the big screen and in my hands is an awesome feature. The Switch has a library of some amazing games, too, like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey. Both of those were two of the best Switch games of 2017. But with the good must come the bad.

In the early days of 2018, a little game called Life Is Strange popped up as a freebie on PlayStation Plus. Incapable of saying no to something free (except STDs), I gave it a go.

Kaelyn DibblePublished 6 years ago in Gamers'The Sims 4: Seasons' Review
Longtime Sims fans know the true definition of “hype” when they hear about a remaster of a classic Sims expansion pack release. Some expansion titles of the eighteen-year-old simulation series have become staples. Examples of these essential and loved packs include pets, university life, and any packs that include family and nightlife features. One pack, however, that may just be the most popular and anticipated expansion of each new generation of The Sims has to be Seasons.
Gamer Sexism
Gender stereotyping and sexism, particularly in gaming, are two common problems throughout the gaming community. Most females within the gaming community have experienced such animosity when playing video games online. Consequently, there is major controversy over whether video games have a gender problem. I argue that video games do have a gender problem. Therefore, gamers, male and female, and non-gamers need to become aware and educated about the issues of harassment and sexism in online gaming. To address these issues, I will provide examples from my own gamer experience and those of other female gamers, as well as that of a game enthusiast. I will also provide statistics revealing the increase of online female gamers and the benefits of a male gamer.
Jade RosarioPublished 6 years ago in Gamers'Super Smash Bros. Ultimate' - The Likely (and Unlikely) Newcomers
One of the best things Super Smash Bros. brings is pre-release speculation and that's what this is. This isn't a dream list of who I want or don't want, but several different lists compiled to fulfill four specific categories: Who has a good chance, who DOESN'T have a good chance, potential third party characters, and stretch characters for that big Sakurai surprise. Each category has five entries and those entries are in no particular order.

Briana MartinPublished 6 years ago in GamersI Don't Really Care What Gygax Had to Say
I'd like to start this article by saying I never personally met Gary Gygax. I've talked with lots of people who knew him, and overall he seemed like a fellow who had both his merits and flaws. As a tabletop gamer, I'm grateful for his contributions to my chosen hobby/career, and I recognize that without his efforts my favorite pastime would look very different than it does today.
Neal LitherlandPublished 6 years ago in Gamers4 Top Tips for Beginner Indie Game Devs
1. Narrow your scope. It can be very easy to get excited about making a game you think everyone will love and want to make this incredible, complex game. Unless you are creating a game with a group of people it can be very daunting to create a very complex game. Keeping the game simple with some choices for the player is what you want to do, to begin with for your first few games. When you start off your first game with the in-depth game you’ve always wanted to make and it becomes overwhelming, many people end up giving up and feel defeated. The whole experience becomes negative instead of fun and enjoyable.
Richard BaileyPublished 6 years ago in GamersVideo Game Characters Modeled After Famous Celebrities
The evolution of video games has come a long way over the years. With everything from Atari to virtual reality, we've seen games become more and more lifelike. New technology called motion capture allows actors and actresses to perform the written script just as they would like in actual film. And because of their performances, their characters are modeled after them. Here are ten video game characters modeled after famous celebrities.
Nick ParoniPublished 6 years ago in Gamers'Ark Survival Evolved': A Review
In case you want to buy this game, click here for Xbox, here for Playstation, and here for PC. For those of you who have been sleeping under a rock for the past few years, or are usually generally uninterested in survival games, you may have no clue what this Ark is. In that case, why are you here in the first place? At any rate, I'll give a little bit of an explanation. Ark is a survival multiplayer game in which you are stranded naked in a weird world filled with dinosaurs and death. You start by first making a shelter, gaining various tools using "Engram points," and thusly make your mark on this landscape. There are large scale boss fights and many a dungeon to run, along with various expansions and worlds. It is currently one of the most popular survival multiplayer games out there. I'll be rating this game based on graphics, gameplay, plot line, replayability, and how much it costs. This will mostly be a review of the base game, not really focusing on the DLC content.
