Rose WillamPublished 4 years ago in GamersIris And The Giant Is A Masterpiece
Why You Should Praise Iris And The Giant Video games have almost always had a bad reputation. From violence to drugs and sex, it is understandable why most of the general public seems to look down upon them with harsh scrutiny. With AAA companies like EA and Activision making decisions that focus on making profits through loot boxes and other live services, the issue is only getting worse. However lately there has been a multitude of titles that prove video games can be much more than mindless profit machines. With easier access to the creative tools and education required to make a game, there has been a surge in indie developers and the critically important ideas they bring with them that break the normal expectations of this medium, creating a renaissance for groundbreaking video games.
Brody GrahamPublished 4 years ago in GamersA Review About A Game 'About Love, Hate And The Other Ones'
Tobias Bilgery’s About Love Hate And The Other Ones is, alphabetically, the first game in my steam library. It also requires very little hard-drive space to run and I assumed it would take very little time to complete.
Quest Factory: 'Queen Anne's Revenge'
It's Dannis here from the 18th century Atlantic sea reviewing Queen Anne's Revenge by Quest Factory. The Clinic and Aztec put out some pretty high production games and I expected nothing less. Have you ever seen a ship in a bottle? Well, be prepared to see a ship in a box.
Daniel RomeroPublished 5 years ago in GamersBest Out of 10,000,000?
10,000,000. Even the name is intimidating. I was never any good at maths in school, so I see the title and I'm immediately reading it as "ten-thousand-thousand" and feel like a fool. First released in January 2013, and has been sat in my Steam library until a few months ago. The aim of the game? To score 10,000,000 points in one run.
'Last Day of June' - We Need to Accept Our Past
Accepting our past is not always easy, especially if it involves the death of a beloved one. We want to go back in time, change what we said, change what we did, and maybe, change how the story went.
Escapade Games: 'Zoe'
Whats going on guys, it's Dannis, and I’m still trying to process exactly what I just experienced. A game that I had so longed to play, has finally happened, Zoe. Let me tell you, the very first thing I heard about this game was that in the first ten days of being open, more than twenty teams forfeited their game. Zoe was too much for them to handle. Naturally I had to find out why so many people couldn’t handle it. I talked to my normal team to try and get us out there, but I was met with a unanimous, “HELL NO,” Zoe just had to wait. However, I was able to put together a different team of six to take on this game. How you might ask? By calling some friends that are escape enthusiasts, some “it's my birthday” guilt, and a whole lot of not telling them what they are walking into, until AFTER the game was booked, and we were standing outside the door.

Whats going on guys, it's Dannis here, and I was lucky enough to get out of this sick and twisted place. I don’t even know the guy's name, nor do I ever want to. Seemed like there were others before me, before us, but they didn’t make it. I guess me and my team just knew how to work together. Sorry bud, but we are not on the menu.
Daniel RomeroPublished 5 years ago in GamersQuest Room: Red Giant
Whats going on guys? It's Dannis here, and I put my numerous hours of watching Indiana Jones and National Treasure to the test. After all my research, I found the Red Giant. Though it may not have thousands of years of collected artifacts that will change the course of history or a sacred chest that holds the Ark of the Covenant, that's besides the point. It's time for my name be in history.
Daniel RomeroPublished 5 years ago in GamersQuest Room: Da Vinci's Challenge
Whats going on guys, it's Dannis here in 1493 taking on Davinci’s challenge at Quest Room to become his next apprentice. Not sure why the three of us are trying out for the same position when he’s only taking one person. Do we just share the prize? Or do we vote someone out. Can we just draw straws?

Strategic thinking has always been a valued trait in an individual, be it in education, the industry, or simply making life’s everyday decisions. While there is significant attention given to improving this skill, there is no necessity for these methods to be dull and reward-less.
