Whats going on guys? It's Dannis here, and I put my numerous hours of watching Indiana Jones and National Treasure to the test. After all my research, I found the Red Giant. Though it may not have thousands of years of collected artifacts that will change the course of history or a sacred chest that holds the Ark of the Covenant, that's besides the point. It's time for my name be in history.

Story:

All your life, the Pink Pyramid has stood as a testament to the ancients who built it and the civilization that once stood. Your elders have told you stories about the treasure that lies within, though none who have ventured after it have ever come back the same. As a child, you dreamed of being the first to find the Red Giant, the most valuable ruby in the world. Now, you and your crack team of experts stand at the mouth of the tomb that will either give you what you've always wanted or doom you for eternity... How far are you willing to go to find The Red Giant? Set in the present, your team of archaeologists have made the trek to the "Pink Pyramid," the rumored hiding place of a dazzling ruby and the treasure of the pharaohs. You'll need to think quickly, as oxygen is limited, and escape the tombs, but will it be as a billionaire, or cursed forever?

Details:

This locations offers three different rooms with three more at a separate location down the road. This place is a little bit more on the expensive side at $99 for two people, but the more players you add, the cheaper it becomes per person. Trust me when I tell you it's worth it. They do not mix you with strangers, so you don't have to make any friends, you book this game out for you and your team. I hope you have people you trust, because getting to the Red Giant isn’t an easy task. The challenge ahead of you is a 3/5 difficulty. Good luck my friends.

Visuals:

You can always count on Quest Room to have some amazing visuals with their rooms. This game holds some great visuals for those who like going on an adventure. The detail they put into this game is greatly appreciated, because once again, I wasn’t in a room off the boulevard, I was on the hunt for the Red Giant in the Pink Pyramid. Most games don't have completely accurate pictures on their website, but the pictures do the room justice. From start to finish, I was constantly in awe of the detail of the room, statues, artifacts, and symbols on the wall, which all had great detail. It was a lot of, “Look at that. Oh thats cool. Stop looking at everything and come help me with this puzzle!” Once again, Quest Room has done a great job with their visuals, so nothing less than 5 out of 5 dynamite sticks.

Puzzles:

Quest Rooms games usually have a Holy S*** moment, and there were a few in this game. My team consisted of some good friends that can appreciate some awesome moments in these games. If the puzzles are out of the ordinary and make you say “Nooo really? Are you sure?” in a good way, then it's awesome. But if you have to scratch your head about it, “Like that's it? Really?” then I don’t need to tell you what that means. No puzzle was too far fetched, and nothing was too easy. Things felt solvable in a reasonable amount of time. And when we weren't able to solve it, we went right back to looking at the decor. I can only point out one thing where a puzzle went wrong and we can blame Sir Isaac Newton for that. It may have allowed us to skip a puzzle and... well... leave a member behind, temporarily, ON ACCIDENT, I might add. Even though he was temporarily gone, he solved the puzzle on his own to come back with us. So it wasn’t all for nothing, but a good laugh. Because my team and I got through the Pink Pyramid and found the Red Giant, it receives 5 out of 5 scarabs.

Overall:

Quest Room continues to be one of my favorite locations through both decor and puzzles. It is on my list that I will always recommend to people to play. The Red Giant is by far one of my favorite games that have to do with being underground. Nothing in the room seemed as though it didn't belong. The concept and execution of the puzzles in the game hold Quest Room as one of the most entertaining games. The Red Giant Ruby is added to my collection. Take that Harrison Ford!
