The Shadow of Alamut. AI-Generated.
The wind swept through the towering cliffs surrounding Alamut, carrying whispers that seemed older than the fortress itself. Travelers believed the mountain was haunted. Soldiers feared its silent walls. To the few who lived within its shadow, however, Alamut was more than a fortress—it was the keeper of secrets too dangerous for the world to know.

Tarkov Has Graced Us with Another Roadmap (July/Quarter 3 Roadmap)
(Intro) It wouldn’t be an ordinary day for Tarkov without going over another newly released roadmap for the game that showcases upcoming changes and additions for the foreseeable future. And while the focus is specifically on July, at least that month seems rather jam packed with tons of new content and a major addition to the game that will allow players to fundamentally experience a different kind of Tarkov. If you’ve watched any of the previous videos going over the roadmap, you know how we’re going to do this; let’s talk about the roadmap as a whole, go over most of the items listed across the panels and see what’s in store for the game. And then after just have a conversation about the potential impact these changes will have on the game as a whole and whether or not we will even see most of these changes make it into the game. It’s the same song and dance every single time, but at least we get to see different things that battle state wants to add into the game. Whether they manage to actually do that, well that’s a different story entirely.

A Serious Conversation About Tarkov’s AI
(Intro) We’ve talked about this at length not only on this channel but across the community as a whole for many years. Tarkov has a problem when it comes to their computer enemies scattered throughout the game. I use that phrase instead of just saying AI because nowadays it’s becoming a little confusing what it means to simply say AI even in the context of a video game. So, bear with me because I will be repeating that phrase a lot, but today we’re talking about how all the different factions across the game are just not up to snuff and how they most likely will never be. As the years have gone on and we’ve seen battle state release more and more factions into the game that players will interact with, we’ve also seen a noticeable drop in quality when it comes to fighting most of them. From your run of the mill scavs, all the way up to the new boss associated with icebreaker and the black division. And he alone has truly shown the depths of depravity when it comes to how insanely broken, busted and just unfun it can be to fight bosses in Tarkov. Bosses and high-level enemies are what makes all the parts of this game so compelling. If you are not interested in fighting players, at least you have the chance to get some powerful gear off other enemies who walk around with it. But what good do those opportunities mean if the moment you get within smelling range of these enemies they wipe you out before you even have a chance to see them. We’ve all been there with enemies like the rogues; the goons and any of the more recent additions of enemies. They don’t play by the rules. In fact, they break about almost all of them that affect how players navigate the world. Again, none of this information is new or revolutionary. But I think it’s about time we reflect on where we are currently when it comes to computer opponents in Tarkov and in a perfect world, what could be altered about them to make fights and engagements just more interesting at the very least. They’ll never be perfect. Hell, they’ll probably never even be good. But at this point, any kind of improvement is better than nothing.

World of Warcraft: Midnight Season 1 is slowly but surely coming to an end, and data for Season 2 is already being confirmed. Sony PlayStation Changed Childhood Memories for Millions
For many people, video games are not just entertainment. They are memories tied to childhood bedrooms, late-night laughter with friends, emotional storylines, and moments that quietly shaped growing up. Few gaming brands became part of personal memories as deeply as Sony PlayStation. Generations of players grew up holding controllers during exciting adventures, difficult life moments, and unforgettable gaming experiences that still feel emotional years later.

Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance (1999)
Right...we've reached the final entry in the Star Wars: X-Wing series. I loved the first game in the series, and I thoroughly enjoyed the second game as well.

Why Retro Gaming Still Feels Special In fast Digital World. AI-Generated.
There is something different about old games. They do not always have the cleanest graphics, the fastest loading times, or the biggest online worlds, but they still hold a place in people’s memories that many modern games struggle to reach.

I’m Enjoying Arena More Than Tarkov
(Intro) With the recent release of season two for Tarkov’s arena mode, they added many of the new items, weapons and mechanics that were missing into Arena, on top of a new battle pass with tons of new items in addition to that. And for what it’s worth, whether you like Arena or not, engage with it as your main game or just every once in a while, to mess around, I cannot tell a lie: I’ve kind of been enjoying Arena more recently than Tarkov itself. Today, I just wanted to take a moment of your time to try and articulate my feelings with Arena and EFT as two games that coexist together. Maybe it’s the years of wear and tear from Tarkov and just being gassed out by the loop not changing much over the last few years, maybe it’s not making a strong enough effort to lean heavily into the main story and putting a dent into those parts of the game, or maybe the Arena hook and routine is just more comfortable right now, I’ve been having a blast with Arena. And I’m not exactly sure as to why.

Tarkov Wouldn't Be Popular if it Never Wiped
(Intro) One of the few unanimous successes with Tarkov was that this game being the first whether intentional or not, to dial in the idea of constantly restarting your game and the communities' progress with wipes that are associated with major updates and patches. As annoying as it felt sometimes to have to start all over again and perform the same tasks in the same exact order, how you went about getting started was very different with each wipe. Because content was always added, there were either new maps, mechanics, or reasons to try and do things different each time, which helped somewhat with the monotony of getting the pocket watch, delivering the documents to Factory and all the other introductory tasks Tarkov has to offer. People love the early game of Tarkov; the scrappy fights, the risk and reward with fighting bosses you come across for their loot and general unpredictability that comes with people desperately just trying to get their flash drive out of the raid, means that wipes allow people to experience a time, a short moment in every wipe cycle where it feels like anyone can take out anyone. Sure, that is always true no matter how many days into a wipe we might be, but it’s never more apparent that right after a restart. So today, I wanted to go over wipe cycles in extraction shooters; how they kind of came to be in Tarkov, how battle state might’ve unintentionally got the formula right from the start, how this simple mechanic carried battle state all the way to the finish line and why this genre needs a forced reset every now and again. Things can get mundane when you have nothing to do, or when you have everything, you could ever want right at your fingertips.
