Why You Should Always Play Interchange at Night
Interchange has always been a problematic map to play on for many years now. At least in my own personal experiences. What boils down to a larger factory with an outside section, only having one primary point of interest, is going to create some problems. Awful spawns, poor distribution of loot, and limited extracts plague this map. My hope is soon, BSG decide that Interchange is the next map to get some updates. Whether that’s on the level of a factory style expansion, or something closer to what Shoreline got this wipe, the mall is a challenging map for reasons that go beyond the difficulty of learning the layout. However, overtime, I personally have begun to figure out ways to make playing on this map far less annoying than it normally might be. Granted, these don’t always work and should be taken with a grain of salt, because there are lots of factors that will go into your experience on Interchange, or really any map in the game to be honest. But the single largest adjustment that I have made is playing Interchange at night. And when I say nighttime, I mean in-game night. So usually after 20:00 or 8pm. The experience feels like a night and day difference, no pun intended, in how frequently you will come across PMCs, scavs, and anything trying to stop you from getting your tasks done; whatever they might be. So, let’s go over Interchange, how playing at night makes a difference, and why you should also consider making the change yourself. 3 Things to Keep in Mind if You're New to Tarkov
Tarkov is a completely different beast for those of us who are relatively new to the game. And even if you aren’t, only this game can take the wind out of your sails and make you question everything you know about the game, and yourself. With so many aspects, mechanics, angles and nuance, Tarkov tries to deliver an experience that is uniquely its own; succeeding most of the time, and completely failing some of the time. We’ll never get the perfect Tarkov video game, but in the meantime, as we slowly approach a potential 1.0 release, it’s important to try and enjoy what we have right in front of us. And for those who might be having some difficulty in that regard, it’s not all doom and gloom. A lot of it simply boils down to a mentality shift with how you play and engage with Tarkov. Here are three things to keep in mind while playing Tarkov, whether you are new to the game. And even I have to remind myself of these sometimes because I can get so bogged down in the trenches that I forget the real reasons why I play and enjoy this game. So, if you enjoy this or any video I have made in the past, be sure to subscribe to see when new ones go live.
Harmony in the Desert
In the arid vastness of Namibia's desert landscapes, where the sun painted the horizon with hues of orange and red, a young boy named Deon Hotto kicked a weathered soccer ball across the dusty terrain. The rhythmic beat of his footsteps echoed the aspirations of a dreamer who yearned to transcend the boundaries of the Namibian sand and make a mark on the global soccer stage.

Alpana SahaPublished 3 months ago in GamersTarkov’s Newest Ammo Changes are Intense
With patch .14 came the whole gambit of changes to the game. And one that we are still feeling the effects of are all the ammo changes to when and how we get access to more powerful rounds. We’ve talked about ammo multiple times in the past; some being taken off the flea market, how much certain ammos can be purchased, the whole nine yards. But this time, ammo has gone through the largest change in the game's history. Even not so top tier rounds, like M855 and PP ammo for 5.45 are being moved much deeper into the games unlock cycle. It was quite a change by itself. But again, combined with everything else this patch brought with it, and it just reinforces why this patch feels like a brand-new game. The game has us now scrounging around maps and looting scavs magazines for whatever ammo we can get our hands on. And I love that. This is how the ammo economy should be at the start. Desperation to find and use rounds that may not be remotely what you want to use, but at the start of the game, you don’t have a choice. It’s crazy how after almost two weeks into the wipe, I just got the ability to buy M855 from Peacekeeper level 3. It’s insane, but again, I love it. Ammo is one of the core components of being able to land successful kills in the game, and if everyone’s access to the good stuff is being pushed further into the game, that means everyone regardless of skill or level, has a better chance of killing other players and surviving the raid. Which is what we’ve wanted for a long time. So, what are some of the ammos people find themselves using these days? Where are the good ammos now? And how have the interactions between the ammo changes with the new armor been? Let’s talk about all of this, and if you are new here be sure to subscribe to the channel for future videos.
Why is Escape From Tarkov Such a Good Streaming Game?
Tarkov is a strange anomaly in the gaming universe. For something touted as being so difficult, complicated, and requiring material outside of the game to be successful, you’d think that level of commitment wouldn’t be entertaining to watch, or at the very least, confusing for those tuning in. But surprisingly, the game does well on YouTube and especially on Twitch. There is a dedicated following for this game on the platform and the people who not only play it, but those who watch it are usually long-time veterans of the game. Sure, there are lots of new people who jump into chat and are curious about the game, but for the most part, if you play Tarkov at all, you also will find yourself watching it too. And this game holds its own on the platform. Normally sitting at around 30-50k concurrent viewers. Recently there has been a massive increase in viewership because Tarkov had Twitch drops on, which allowed you to earn in-game items by watching streamers, but we’ll talk more about that later. But my main question around this game and the following it has online, is what makes Tarkov such a compelling and arguably perfect streaming video game? Is it the game itself? The memes? Something else? Let's go over this and see if we can figure out why it works so well on Twitch. And if you are new or returning to the channel, be sure to subscribe for more videos in the future about Tarkov and anything else we can think of.
