Press Start: A Family Story
Author’s note: My family’s gaming time has been made possible thanks to the generosity of friends and family who have been kind enough to gift us various electronics and gaming devices. I wanted to acknowledge that kindness before sharing our story.

Subnautica 2 and the Fear Waiting Beneath the Ocean
Few video games create loneliness and wonder the way Subnautica did. Players were not simply exploring an ocean planet. They were surviving inside an environment that felt beautiful, mysterious, and terrifying at the same time. That emotional connection is exactly why so many people are now searching for “subnautica 2” with excitement and curiosity. The first game left players with unforgettable memories of dark underwater caves, distant creature sounds, and moments of panic while oxygen levels dropped dangerously low. But it also created moments of peace, exploration, and emotional isolation unlike almost any other survival game. Fans hope Subnautica 2 can bring back those feelings while expanding the world in deeper and more emotional ways. The anticipation surrounding the game is not only about graphics or gameplay. It is about returning to a world that made players genuinely feel something powerful.

My Top 25 Mega Drive Games
Onto our first list for a Sega console: the Mega Drive. Or, if you’re American or Canadian, the Genesis. I’ll be calling it the Mega Drive throughout though, as that’s what it always was to us in the UK, as well as in its homeland of Japan. (In South Korea, it was the Super Gam*Boy and later the Super Aladdin Boy, for some reason.)

The Worst, Uninteresting NES Game I've Ever Played
For nearly 40 years, I've been playing retro games. I'm a huge sucker of nostalgia and basically live and breathe it daily. My first love was the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and while I loved and enjoyed the many games I've played, one in particular was so boring that I never played it again. That game was Knight Rider. Games based on movies or television shows aren't always received positively by critics. While Knight Rider received favorable reviews, yours truly thought otherwise. Also known as Naito Raidā (ナイトライダ) in Japan, this game was released in the former in September 1988 and then in North America in July 1990. The television series lasted a total of four seasons on NBC from September 1982 to April 1986, airing 90 episodes. I'll probably do a list of my favorite episodes in a later story. Going back to the game, there were two things wrong with it. I've watched every episode of this show at least a hundred times, but having a video game based on that was a terrible idea.

A PlayStation 6 leak suggests three devices, two consoles and a handheld.
Even though it hasn't been officially announced, Sony's next-generation PlayStation console is already generating a lot of buzz. A series of recent leaks and reports suggest that the PlayStation 6 (PS6) could mark one of the most ambitious hardware strategies in the company’s history. Sony may be preparing an entire ecosystem of devices, including multiple consoles and a handheld system, rather than launching a single console.
