I’m a pretty competitive person when it comes to most things in life. I don’t have to be the best at everything I do, but I like to get as close as possible. This carries over into gaming as well. It doesn’t matter what game it is, I want to make sure I can at least say I am an above average player.
This has served me well while playing Pocket7Games’ skill-based cash games. With a wide variety of games to play, it can be difficult to figure out all of the tricks, so I chose a few that I particularly liked and focused on those. The games are a lot of fun and can get pretty competitive because you are competing for a prize, which may be real money.
Tile Blitz Tips and Tricks
My personal favorite game on Pocket7Games is Tile Blitz. The game is very reminiscent of Tetris but gives you more freedom in block placement. It also adds several different types of blocks to use. The game involves filling in entire rows or columns in order to make the tiles disappear and score points. This makes organizing your blocks and fitting them together that much more important.
The ultimate goal of Tile Blitz is to score the most points. Since these are competitive skill-based cash games, you can compete against other players for real money. That means it is extremely important to maximize the amount of points you get in each game.
Here are some of the things you should avoid doing:
Randomly dropping your tiles
Simply placing your tiles at random will quickly fill up the board and leave you with little to no room to place more blocks. You will want to fit the pieces together as best as possible so that you can clear them out by completing a row or column.
Let your screen fill up too much
It might be tempting to fill up your screen with neatly organized rows of tiles while searching for that perfect piece to complete them. However, you will want to limit how much you let the screen fill up, since the game will occasionally give you very large or awkwardly shaped pieces. If you can’t fit the pieces anywhere, it’s game over.
Don’t worry about the perfect placement
While it’s important to place the pieces as best as you can, leaving the occasional open block can actually work to your advantage. The game provides a number of different block types, including a single block, which is perfect for filling in small holes that might’ve been missed. So, don’t worry about getting the perfect combination. Place the blocks to the best of your ability and then use smaller blocks to fill in the extra spaces as needed.
Here are some additional tips:
Line up and clear multiple rows/columns at a time
Line up your blocks so that you can complete several rows or columns at once. This will award bonus points to help increase your score and get you closer to your winnings.
Clear consecutive rows or columns
Clearing rows or columns back-to-back will award bonus points, so try to use your pieces to clear out the board in consecutive moves.
Remember that you can clear rows and column at the same time
Columns and rows can be cleared at the same time, giving you bonus points. Try to set up the board so that your block placement will trigger a completion on both axes.
Pocket7Games’ Tile Blitz is a lot of fun and can be rather addicting. There are plenty of different game mode options, so I’d highly recommend playing some games that offer Tickets as winnings until you get the hang of it. Build up your knowledge of skill games and then jump into one of the many money games or tournaments that reward real cash prizes.
The tournaments can be a great way to win free cash, but it will take several consecutive wins before you can claim your cash prizes. Practice and warm up on games with lower stakes and then move into real money games.
If you’re a fan of skill-based cash games, then you will also want to check out the other games that Pocket7Games has to offer. There are many options to choose from and the games will definitely keep you entertained.
