Forewarning: I am not a professional game critic, so this is just my experience and opinion on what I've seen so far. As for some background, I am a PC gaming enthusiast that fell in love with Warcraft III and then began my WoW adventure in Burning Crusade and into WOTLK where I would classify myself as more of a hardcore player. After WOTLK I played on and off throughout the other expansions, but never could really get back into it until Legion. I thought Legion was a great expansion, and I played into BFA but quickly lost interest due to the new systems and storyline.
This is part 2 of my Personal Finance blog series on how I escaped a horrible financial situation, and what I learned along the way. You can find part 1 here.
I was deep in debt. My girlfriend had sudden medical issues and was forced to move back home -- Suddenly I was responsible for a 2 bedroom apartment and all of its bills. Admittedly I didn’t know much about managing my money wisely. I had a little bit of savings, but that was more of happenstance rather than good management. I was working at an electrical contractor at the time, making $18/hour installing cameras and security systems. It wasn’t bad money, I was just bad with money.
