DARKSIDE of FACEBOOK
Everything That Glitters Isn't Gold "We’re doing a great job of 'canceling' the master of leverage. That’s how Zuckerberg REALLY became wealthy and worth $101B. Facebook/Twitter may be the champion of ‘Cancel Culture’, but it’s in our power to 'cancel' our dependency of those platforms. I'm a man of integrity; so with me, it’s not about having something to hide. It’s about a business and its CEO's lack of integrity. Facebook has been selling our 'browsing history', 'interests', 'I. P. Addresses', 'Network of Family', and every website you're able to log into by clicking 'LOG-IN WITH YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT' — He's been doing it without our consent. I don't take that lightly. There's a difference between CUSTOMIZING YOUR BROWSING EXPERIENCE and SELLING YOUR USERS BROWSING EXPERIENCE TO A BACKGROUND ENTITY THAT BECOMES THE ALL-SEEING-EYE." - R. L. Laster

Chasing Ducks
Salmon P. Chase stared back at me. Smug. Chase was President Lincoln’s Secretary of the Treasury. He was responsible for issuing the first federal paper currency, which helped the Union maintain its financial status during the Civil War. To boost his own presidential ambitions, he made sure it was his face on several denominations of bills, including the $1. Chase Bank takes its name from him, and his face was printed on the 1918 issuance of the $10,000 bill.

Sterilizing Trans Folx
Sterilization on the trans/non binary/non-conforming/non cis and many more identity(ies) is an issue rarely talked about. We live in a culture that was created through the visionaries of white supremacists. Part of white supremacy is transphobia. We live in a transphobic culture so deeply rooted in our systems and ourselves that we are so unaware of all the violence we engage in to our trans siblings and ourselves.

To Survive on $2000
When Daryl and I decided to get married, the first concern on our mind wasn't where to have it or when. It was if we should actually get married. You see at the time I couldn't remember if my type of disability was SSI (Supplemental Security Income) or SSDI (Social Security Disability Income). You'd think everyone with a disability would be in the latter, but that's not the case.

What's the problem with palm oil?
The other day while surfing the web I came across a comment warning people about palm oil in their vegan food staple alternatives. I went to my fridge and checked a few of my dairy-free alternatives to find that sure enough, my Becel vegan margarine used 6% palm oil. I was glad to see that my other products were seemingly safe from the “palm oil travesties”, but it makes you wonder – what other ingredients in these products could be harmful to the environment and to human rights? These vegan products are seen as being healthier and safer alternatives, but after some research, I began to question “If it has palm oil in it, is it really better than its dairy equivalent?”.

Laws and Legal procedure for transfer of property after the death of the owner
Suppose an owner of a property is willing to transfer the ownership rights to someone during their lifetime, there are various instruments available through which he can transfer their title rights, such as, Gift Deed, Transfer Deed, Relinquishment Deed or Sale Deed, etc. However, if such property is not transferred during the lifetime of the owner in that case the legal heirs/beneficiaries can now get the property transferred by fulfilling the legal requirements and procedural formalities, depending on the mode of transfer. Some of the commonly known methods are Will, Sale deed, Partition deed, Family Settlement, Relinquishment deed, etc. However, just having the requisite papers is not enough; such a document must be genuine and valid.

Wasted what?
As I was running through the internet one day, I came across some very interesting articles. And then I noticed that we were having a contest for some weird unknown facts that are actually facts. So the one I found quite interesting, is from Guinness. According to this article Guinness waste almost 163,000 pints of beer in facial hair every year. Now we all know that Guinness Irish Stout is an all-time favorite for our Irish friends, and we also know how our Irish friends love to grow that facial hair. Of course, there are quite a few men around the world that like to grow facial hair so that is not a fun fact. No the fun fact here is that Guinness, had an actual research study commissioned and they found is that an estimated 162,719 pints of Irish Stout go to waste every year. The study also said it was via the mustaches. So those pesky little mustaches, that men have upon their faces, are in fact drinking themselves a good old Irish Stout Guinness. The fascial hair actually traps 0.56 mm of Guinness in their mustache or beard. They even went so far as to count how that got into the average beard or mustache with each sip. They estimated that it takes about 10 sips to finish a pint. They took the average estimate of 92,370 Guinness consumers in the UK that has facial hair. And that’s only the UK. If they consume on average 180 pints each year, the total cost of Guinness wasted annually is $536,000. I found this absolutely astonishing and also why would you do a study like that? But apparently, at Guinness, they really want to know where their Irish Stout is going. I myself am not a fan of the Irish Stout. but I thought it was very interesting that a company would go so far as to see where their extra beer might be going. So looking at that math again we have 92,370 Guinness consumers with ten sips per pint, with 0.56 mm milliliters getting trapped in their mustaches and each sip which equals 162,719 pints of Irish Stout that go to waste every year costing Guinness $536,000 a year. It was cute they said the moral of the story was shave and save. I found this on a website called, best life and the website is bestlifeonline.com.

Do The Stars Really Align?
would like to start off by being blunt. I have never cared much for Zodiac signs. I've always believed that people carry their own thoughts and ambitions, none of which is dictated by the movements of the stars. Much as Vocal as challenged me to write, however, they have now begun to challenge me to learn. In this little article of mine, I will be writing my thoughts as I research my own Zodiac sign.

A Deeper Dive into Plastic Contamination of the Ocean
With our oceans already filled with over 160 million tons of garbage, our oceans are facing a crisis! It is now estimated that by 2050, plastic debris in the oceans will outnumber fish. Plastic consumption is rapidly increasing, putting marine life in harm's way and destroying natural ecosystems.
