Ben and Jerry’s seems to have angered conservative voters by calling for the return of Mount Rushmore to the native Sioux.

You can read the full article here: https://www.newsnationnow.com/business/ben-jerrys-indigenous-land-fourth-of-july/#:~:text=%28NewsNation%29%20—%20Vermont-based%20ice%20cream%20company%20Ben%20%26,%26%20Jerry’s%20said%20on%20its%20Twitter%20page%20Tuesday.

There are now snowflake conservatives whining and moaning it’s unpatriotic of Ben and Jerry’s to say we should return stolen land.

First of all, why? Ben and Jerry’s wants to return, not destroy, land belonging to America TOO Americans, because native Americans ARE infact Americans too. They’re more American then anybody, being the only group of people who’s native to America. So if you’re conservative and reading my article, please explain to me why it’s unpatriotic for Ben and Jerry’s to say we should give American land, Mt. Rushmore, to our fellow Americans? Becauase that’s literally exactly what we’re doing, because Ben and Jerry’s asked for the land to be returned to the Sioux, who have American citizenship. Yes, they have their own reservations, but they’re still American! And we can still travel to Mt. Rushmore regardless of wether or not it belongs to them, so who would it hurt to give it back to the Sioux? Really? (It hurts nobody! Just return the land!)

Ben and Jerry make a good point, as well, when they review the history of Mt. Rushmore. We not only stole the land from Native Americans, we forced them to watch as we desecrated their holy mountain and put the faces of their conquerors on their mountain. That’s just disgusting in my opinion. Imagine for a minute if China or Russia or another military power took over your city and put statues up of their leaders! I’m sure you wouldn’t be happy. Not only did they take your land, but they’re rubbing in your face.

I say this is one small piece of land, it’s not significant to our economy, nobody lives there, we don’t need it for any strategic military reason, let’s give it back.

Now, I once brought up the fact that I think more land should be returned to the Native Americans to a conservative, briefly forgetting how rigidly, doggedly stupid they can be. He quickly reminded me of just that fact. (Sorry but not sorry for offending any conservative idiots reading my article. If you’re a conservative and you’re offended, stop being a snowflake and grow up!)

The conservative asked me “but why? The Native American governments are corrupt!”

I asked “but there are so many Native American governments, all of them? All of them are corrupt?” And he said yes. I asked why. His answer was something you’d expect of someone who’s been living in the woods alone for to long, doesn’t socialize with to many intelligent people, doesn’t read books, only watches Fox News, and who’s also on a psychedelics trip.

His answer: “The government and casinos they own are in cahoots to keep all the money for themselves and not give any to the other poor Native Americans. And they keep their people drinking all the time, so why give anything to the Native Americans they don’t deserve it.”

I asked for proof of this, and of course he had none and just told me I don’t watch enough “real” news and told me I should watch Fox every once in a while. Like, ok first of all Fox has a conservative slant, second I did google Fox News articles and stories on “every single current Native American government being corrupt and/or keeping their own people poor and oppressed.” No such article existed, at least not one that I could find, Fox News or otherwise. So please, if this non sense is something you believe, send me proof, any proof, you snowflake conservatives, of this being an actual issue.

Second, when I actually went to a couple Native American casinos, what I found was positive. They were paying taxes to a government that provided services to other Native Americans, like roads, schools, and other regular city services. In addition, they provided hundreds of jobs for their fellow Native Americans, therefor stimulating the economy. They were far FAR from being the “evil, horrifying corrupt casino and government that keeps its population poor and drinking by magically brainwashing them somehow” that the conservatives try and convince people to believe. So the conservatives are not only snowflakes for being offended and sensitive to people like Ben and Jerry’s saying “return native land,” but they’re also lairs. Filthy liars. That feels good to say, so I’ll say it again. The conservatives are filthy, dirty liars who literally lie about Native Americans and their governments being corrupt so people won’t consider returning land to them.

And if you want proof, hard proof, that Native American casinos provide jobs and pay taxes, go to a damn Native American casino. If you want proof that most Native Americans haven’t been magically brainwashed by the casinos and government, visit them. Just go visit. It’s not that hard!

And even if the Native American government was corrupt, (which it’s not!) who cares? That doesn’t entitle the American government, white people, conservatives, or anybody else to “keep land they or their ancestors stole.” That’s like if I walked into a grocery store, stole $200 worth of food, walked out, and when security said “return the food or pay for it, sir,” and I said “no, I’m sorry. I don’t have too. Your board of directors is corrupt. The CEO refuses to pay his employees a living wage. The board of directors are all former convicted felons. And the company encourages children to give their parents rat posion. So if you want me to pay, you can suck it. I’m entitled to steal this food AND keep it because you’re all corrupt.”

See how dumb that sounds? That’s how dumb you conservatives sound when you say “we’re entitled to keep this stolen land that we and our ancestors stole because the Native Americans are corrupt, they’re keeping all there casino money…” like, I call bull crap.

And stealing land is EXTREMLY corrupt. So basically the corrupt conservative is saying “even though I’m corrupt for living on stolen land, I think the person I stole it from is also corrupt, so that justifies my crime…” in addition to this argument being wrong, it’s as if they think two wrongs make a right.

To any Native Americans reading this, I think you’re patriotic.

Thank you for reading!
