Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismUpcoming Book 'Shadow Of The Sith' Could Answer Some Questions From The Sequel Trilogy
Lucasfilm and its publishing partners are starting to fill the 30-year gap between the end of Return of the Jedi and the beginning of The Force Awakens with new stories. By doing so, they hope to remedy some of the plot holes of the sequel trilogy as a whole and The Rise of Skywalker especially. So far most of the books and comics that have been published in this era were set relatively close to the Battle of Endor, like Chuck Wendig’s Aftermath, or Alexander Freed’s Alphabet Squadron trilogy, which deals with the Empire’s last stand at Jakku, and the seemingly disappearance of its remnants into the Unknown Regions after that. Other books were set more closely to the sequel trilogy, like the stories of Rey, Finn, and Poe before they met in The Force Awakens. There are a few exceptions that give us a hint at the state of the galaxy between the formation of the New Republic and the rise of the First Order, like Claudia Gray’s Bloodline, that covers the end of Leia’s political career after her heritage becomes public knowledge and the growing schism in the New Republic into a more peaceful and a more aggressive faction.

It is no surprise that when these things go into auction they can be worth quite a pretty penny. Sometimes they can go for some big money.

Regardless of whether you think the Jedi or the Sith is cooler or better than the other, Force lightning has always been awesome! From the minute we first saw Emperor Palpatine blast Luke with Force lightning in Return of the Jedi, we all collectively thought, “Whoa! I wanna shoot lightning from my fingertips!” It was so cool and impactful that it has become a staple for both Star Wars and the villainous Sith to this day. It has been used in some form in almost every Star Wars project that follows. Force lightning does not just have to be the thing of schoolyard dreams now because a clever fan has given us real life Force lightning!
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismHow Anakin Can Fit Into The 'Ahsoka' Series
As we all know Ahsoka Tano made her live action debut in The Mandalorian. It was a moment many of us had been waiting for. There is a lot of love for the Togruta Jedi among the Star Wars fan base. She has been such an engaging and well fleshed out character from the moment she was introduced in the Clone Wars animated movie and the subsequent animated series. Ahsoka is genuinely the character in Star Wars I hold most dear. She embodies everything that is right. She also perfectly highlights the flaws of the Jedi Order during this time period when she chooses to leave the Order. It is no surprise that we would see her star in her own spin-off series.

I remember leaving the midnight showing of Rogue One with my mate Lewis. It was like 3 AM. Both of us enjoyed the film, but that ending just blew our minds. You know the scene I am talking about. That hallway scene with Darth Vader is like something out of a horror movie. This is a side of Vader that no one has ever seen on screen before. He is more akin to a slasher villain, the true embodiment of fear and the brutality of the Dark Side. Just hacking and slashing. This is probably the closest we will ever get to a horror movie set within Star Wars.

With the Halloween season upon us, our minds turn to the spooky and the macabre as pumpkins become Jack-o-lanterns and children don all manner of costumes to roam the neighborhood in pursuit of a sugar high. The realm of goblins, ghouls, ghosts and gore certainly isn't limited to our planet. We've recently seen what the Marvel universe would look like after being ravaged by a zombie virus from the Quantum Realm and Star Wars got into the holiday spirit with LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales.

Finis Valorum was the face of a Republic ripe with corruption—rotting from the inside like an ancient Wroshyr tree. By the end of his term, Chancellor Valorum was surrounded by self-serving politicians whose greed brought the thousand-year Republic to its knees. Not much is known about Finis Valorum, a man remembered for his weakness in the face of challenge. I will take a deeper dive into some of the lesser-known facts about Chancellor Valorum.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker closed out the Skywalker Saga on the big screen, and reception to the grand finale was mixed at best. However, the film did feature the return of Ian McDiarmid as the dreaded Emperor Palpatine. It also provided fans a somewhat twist answer to the question of Rey’s lineage. Instead of being a Skywalker, Kenobi, or Solo, it was revealed that Rey was Palpatine’s granddaughter.

Marvel's What If... has been quite an interesting experiment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), showing us various possibilities in an infinite universe that makes up the Marvel multiverse. Disney's other major franchise Star Wars has never really had a "What if" show outside of the Star Wars Infinities graphic novels and the Halloween shorts like LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales. That has not stopped fans from wondering how a "What if" story or series set in the galaxy far, far away could look like. Because of that, some creative minds have created their own Star Wars What If… poster just out of pure love for the saga.
