BioWare Gives Pleasing Update On 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' MMO
BioWare made one of the greatest Star Wars video games with Knights of the Old Republic. They followed it up with the also fantastic Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Fans longed for Knights of the Old Republic III, but after The Sith Lords, things went quiet from BioWare. Well, they did go on to make two small indie games called Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect, but things were completely silent on the Star Wars front. Then in 2011 BioWare released their follow-up to Knights of the Old Republic with an MMO aptly titled The Old Republic which, at the time, was the most expensive game ever made. Now, as the 10th anniversary of BioWare’s galactic MMO quickly approaches, BioWare commented on where the game will head to next.

Always in motion the future is, as a wise Jedi Master once said to his young Padawan on Dagobah so many films ago. With this in mind it seems that once again the future of Lucasfilm in film seems to be in motion as various films that were once scheduled for one year are being moved to another with new projects taking its place. Of course, nothing is concrete or set in stone at the moment. However, there certainly is movement behind the scenes in the walls of Lucasfilm. Things are about to get really interesting really soon.

While the prequel trilogy is remembered fondly by most of the Star Wars fandom nowadays, there was once a time it was not. Much like the sequel trilogy at the moment, this trilogy also divided fans at the time. However, there were some aspects of it that many enjoyed, namely some of the new characters and the actors portraying them. Ewan McGregor is easily the most famous with his performance as Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is usually classed as “the best” thing to come from the prequels, but another fan favorite character is his master Qui-Gon Jinn.

His Force abilities were considered a curse by his father, Count Gora. Dooku’s mother, Countess Anya, reluctantly abandoned Dooku, only for him to be found by a Jedi Seeker. Dooku grew up proud under the tutelage of Jedi Master Tera Sinube, constantly pushing himself to be the best. But, in the end, that drive would cost him his life.

Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in Futurism'Star Wars' Reveals The Reason Why The Hutt and Jedi Alliance Ended During The High Republic
WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILER FOR THE HIGH REPUBLIC #8- 10 A Jedi and Hutt alliance sounds like a perfect definition of an oxymoron. For decades, the Hutts were known to fans as being slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindlers. However, that is part of what makes The High Republic series so fascinating. The High Republic introduced new threats to the galaxy like the anarchistic marauders (aka. space Vikings) known as the Nihil, and the monstrous Drengir. The threats are coming during a period of peace spreading chaos across the galaxy in what is known as the Great Disaster. To help combat these threats, the Jedi made an unlikely alliance with the Hutts. Alas, it was not meant to be.

Starkiller Base is the massive superweapon of the First Order we see in The Force Awakens. Many consider it a Death Star rip-off, and from an out of universe perspective it very much is. However, from an in-universe perspective Starkiller Base has quite an interesting backstory and history that is connected to the wider Star Wars universe, going back all the way to the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, both 2002 and 2008 incarnations.

To quote Alien 3, "This is rumor control. Here are the facts." A few days ago, Jordan Maison of Cinelinx stated he had couple of sources informing him of an upcoming animated series that would focus on Darth Maul. I say rumor because it has yet to be officially announced, but from what I know, Mr. Maison has a good track record when it comes to these sorts of thing. He ain't got no zeroh credibility.
