Alternate 'A New Hope' Story Shows Yoda Using A Jedi Mind Trick To Destroy The Death Star
Last year when Disney announced their line-ups for Star Wars and Marvel streaming series, one that stood out for everyone was Marvel's What If…? which was based upon alternate realities of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For example a zombie apocalypse, or what if someone assassinated the Avengers and another episode that will play a BIG role in the upcoming Doctor Strange 2. So naturally, this led many genre fans to think about their own What If...? scenarios.

“Six. It was always the plan to tell the story in just six episodes.” This was more or less the answer when George Lucas was asked if he would make any more Star Wars movies after Revenge of The Sith (this was of course before the sale to Disney). At the time of writing this article, it is still more than two months until the premiere of the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries on Disney+, which, coincidentally or not, also consists of six episodes. And even before anyone outside of Lucasfilm has seen more of the upcoming show than the recently released trailer, fans have started to ask: will there be more?

Grand Admiral Thrawn was one of the most notorious leaders in the Galactic Empire’s history. Even in death, his legacy was one for the history books. Many Imperial leaders wished to emulate him to succeed against the New Republic. So much so that in a desperate attempt to top the Imperial Remnant from making peace, loyalists hired an actor to play the Grand Admiral to trick the New Republic into breaking the truce between the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic. The name of that impersonator was Flim.

Hubba, Hubba, Hubba, who do you trust? Seriously, when it comes to Star Wars news now, who/where do you trust? See, I look at sites I trust due to their credibility, sites such as SlashFilm, Variety, Cinemablend, Collider, Entertainment Weekly, and The Hollywood Reporter. And now I have a little bit of doubt, the worst kind of doubt. The little whisper at the back of your head kind of doubt.
Culture SlatePublished 2 years ago in FuturismWhere Will Jar Jar Binks Make His Return?
Ex-squeeze me, but where exactly is Jar Jar Binks? Over the last decade, we've seen quite the resurgence in prequel-related Star Wars content. Despite the mixed reception to the prequel trilogy, George Lucas did not give up on his plans for the franchise and went forward with the acclaimed animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Over the course of (eventually) seven seasons, the show fleshed out the era in a way that would simply be impossible in the span of just three movies. Following Disney's acquisition of the franchise in 2012, there seemed to be a bit of hesitation from Lucasfilm to openly embrace prequel content in its first few films. However, this would thankfully pass as Star Wars Rebels, Rogue One, The Last Jedi and more Star Wars projects would gradually integrate elements of the prequels.
