Patty Jenkins’ 'Rogue Squadron' Receives Interesting Update
Many new Lucasfilm productions are in the works right now. The COVID-19 pandemic has really put some delay in production. Although there are many shows that finally made it to the Disney+ streaming service there are still some projects that have been pushed back. In late 2020, Disney released a long list of Star Wars productions in the pipeline at their D23 conference. Among those was the interesting title of Rogue Squadron. Boy, just typing out the title gives a feeling of a cool fighter pilot combat action. Well, when is this long-anticipated production going to debut on the big screen? As of a few days ago, it looks like the film, Rogue Squadron will be released in December 2023.

Veteran actor Christopher Lloyd, best immortalized as Doctor Emmett "Doc" Brown from the 1980's Back to the Future franchise, has been cast in an unknown role in the upcoming third season of the hit Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Lloyd is no stranger to science fiction and fantasy, having had a major role as Klingon Commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984).
