Confucianism
Ancient China became the great behemoth of the east following the guidance of three ancient teachings: Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. Originally, I had planned to put all three into this article, but I realized that to get a true understanding of each, this would be far too long. Instead, each will get its own article and we shall begin with Confucianism. We will start our exploration of Confucius and the philosophy that he developed with some tales…

The Beginning We have many Religions around the World and each has its Deity, the Being that is heard but not seen, the Being who speaks to only the Chosen Ones. These Gods each, in their own way allegedly created the Universe and the Solar Systems and the Planets, this is what each Religion believes about their God. The Chosen Ones edict Laws and Beliefs according to what their God has told them in extraordinary instances of “talking to God”.

Being Raised With Cultish Beliefs
In a previous article I wrote, I briefly mentioned how my mother raised me with beliefs she learned from the Worldwide Church of God. Now, I want to discuss how these same beliefs helped shaped my views on religion in adulthood. For those of you who are unfamiliar, the Worldwide Church of God was started by Herbert Armstrong in 1933. He and his family were living in Eugene, OR and it was originally known as the Radio Church of God. As time went on, Herbert's program became known as the World Tomorrow long before it started airing on TV. From there, he established the WCG. The Worldwide Church of God was a doomsday cult. Herbert Armstrong told his followers he had all the answers and his beliefs were the only way. He said that other Christian churches and religions were false doctrine.

the banana leaf It is likely that in its vision of oneself, the obligation of staying true to form must have been overlooked. Imagine, the absolute gravity of formulating the invention of the cat, with the means of the evolutionary process, and the canvass of matter by the theory of a big bang. As my mother would say, your father’s 15 seconds of glory brought you along.

When we read myths and legends, we get reams of text about how awesome the gods are. How clever, how manly, how wise, and we get intricate details about all their deeds and accomplishments. But when it comes to the goddesses? Well, we know their names, and we know generally what their areas of concern were, but more often than not the way they're talked about is that they're just the girls of the pantheon. As if the gods all went out for an epic roarer of a boy's night, and the wives stayed at home waiting for them to come back.

Navaratri- 9-Night Grand Festival For Goddess Durga
‘Navaratri’ means 9 nights and denotes the 9 power nights of the Goddess Durga. Navaratri signifies the magnificent triumph of the Supreme Goddess over demonic forces and symbolizes the victory of good over evil. After the nine nights, the victory is celebrated on the tenth day called Vijayadasami. During these 9 nights, Goddess Durga is worshipped in her 9 powerful forms called Nava Durga. It is also a custom to propitiate the Goddess Trinity – Durga on the first three days, Lakshmi on the next three days, and Saraswati on the final three days of Navaratri. Worshipping the divine feminine energy during Navaratri gives immense blessings, fulfills wishes, abundance, happiness, and protection.
Week Two
Week Two Lethargy, mood swings and fear Uncertainty is a place where not many can live for long. Its very definition does not allow you to move back or move forward, everything is up in the air. The fear of the unknown wants to draw you back into the known, even though it is there that the abuse and hell lay. Your mood swings from happy that you are free to fearing that very freedom.

We are all aware of the mummies of Egypt, and we are always wondering how the Egyptians were so much progress with medical science. But there was a practice of self-mummification amongst the Buddhist monks till the 19th century until Japan made it illegal. The Sokushinbutsu process is as it sounds, no other hand is needed to mummify the dead body. The person who wants to undergo such a process brings on him a harsh routine and strict diet along with a drink of poisonous tea.

When you turn thirty-five your first thing to do is not usually decide you want to start over in life. You do not want to leave everything behind, hoping you can get out of your own personal hell with what you can carry in a suitcase and the clothes on your back. No money, no real contacts outside of the community you are leaving and an uneasy realization that you are likely going to spiritual hell because you can no longer live in the physical hell that you have been living.
