The Princess and the Peep
There was once a prince, and he wanted to find a princess to marry, but he was a rather stuck-up and entitled prince – he was a native of New Holstein and not one of the rare nice ones – so the princess needed to be a real Princess. With an upper case P. He travelled right and left and up and down and all around to find his Princess bride, but there was always something wrong. There were plenty of princesses, but he always had questions regarding whether they were real princesses. Every single one of them had something that was not quite right about them. Here’s an example: There was a princess who lived in New York…so you would think that just by being cool enough to live in New York, she stood a good chance of being a real Princess, but no, you would be wrong… Her problem was that she smelled like a goat. Literally. She showered or bathed daily and used flowery-smelling soap. She also washed her hair at least twice a year. Oh wait. That was the problem with her. She didn’t have any sense when it came to hair. She didn’t realize you had to wash it at least every few days. So she smelled like an extremely dirty goat.

The Ashland's
The Ashland's... A never ending stretch of sulfuric rocks covered from by a never ending flurry of ash from the sky. Although the clouds above were dark grey, the sky behind them was pure white giving this otherwise ominous realm a bright undertone. Amongst the rubble and ash lied a young man by the name of Darius...not breathing, heart still...but not dead.

The Last Glass
"And for you, miss?" "The best Merlot you have." My late night had transformed itself into a fairytale. When I walked into the Vineyard I never expected to see her there. I thought this was going to be another night I spent alone at a bar waiting for my date to show up. But there she was. Long black hair, brown eyes, dark skin. Her dress a combination of Heaven and Earth. And her smile. By God, her smile! I know it's cliched but it lit up the entire room. I saw her and no one else. From that moment on I knew that it must've been fate. She had a lipstick stained glass at her side; she was early. She extended her hand to greet me without standing. Her legs crossed, right on top of left, revealed less than what anyone else would hope for but just enough for your imagination to wander. Her soft hands met mine and I immediately apologized for my nervousness. I tripped over my own name several times but she found it charming (I found it embarrassing). After finding the right words to pronounce my name I asked what she was drinking.

Paranormal Soldier
The cold reaches of space were always unforgiving, but as I stared out the window into the dark void there came a deeper feeling of hopelessness that I've ever felt before. It's my third mission with this team and it hasnt exactly been a smooth ride so far. I'm still new, still a rookie, so I learn what I can, where I can, when I can so I dont end up holding everyone back or worse get anyone killed. Your team is only as strong as your weakest link. At least that's one of the mottos we learn in basic.

self talk
We came from a world that slowly turned gray. As if watching time end like a dripping faucet. A frigid and slow crawl towards the infinite void of a blackhole. I pulled at the chains of my ancestors insisting on turning around the cycle. It would bend but it never could break. Here we learned the lesson of leaving behind the decaying weight. Even if it meant cutting off the hope implied.

Time Vault: Prelude
Tyler: 2142 His heart raced as he rounded the corner. It was not like Tyler Jynx to get rattled, nor do anything too daring. His mediocre life, living paycheck-to-paycheck, pushed him to the edge. It was time to do something daring, something drastic, which is why he was sneaking into the Time Vault. The Time Vault is the establishment that regulates and controls time travel. They also have time guards, who travel through time protecting the timeline from rouge travelers. The rules are simple. You cannot visit your former self or anyone who knew, you cannot tell people about major future events, and you had to return to the exact time and place that you left by the specified time allotted. Also you had to be wealthy in order to travel not because of the law but because it cost $2,000,000 for one trip. In the year 2142 the average person makes only $200,000 per year after living expenses and taxes are paid and are left with a mere $20,000 if they are lucky. Tyler did not fit into the wealthy category which is why he chose to sneak into the facility.

Glitch ...
Sunk beyond the plane of machine gun fire. A tired, sour and conflicted voice breaks its sound. “Gods! that’s what we were,” shared the stranger loudly. “The cream of the crop, the best ever assembled.” “Everything we touched in our research propelled us to the next level, producing extraordinary results”.

Death and Taxes
They say the only sure things in life are Death and Taxes, but I'm proof that there are no sure things in life... My story begins and ends on the Monroe Estate, a large sprawling mansion located in Long Island, New York, owned by my father Benjamin Monroe; a self-made billionaire. Needless to say, living up to my father's expectations was literally impossible. How do you compete or prove yourself competent to a man who dragged himself out of the gutters, to be one of the wealthiest, successful, and powerful businessmen in the United States?
