On the Subject of Magic
What is 'magic'? Everyone's got an opinion, and they often contradict. Some say magic is the flashy stuff you see in movies; emphasis on movies. Other people say that there's magic, if subtle and mundane, in everyday life; the way the leaves change, the way a flower can grow through the cracks in concrete, the way some people have weird luck in certain things, or certain mundane abilities. There are those who believe that 'magic' lies in sleight of hand, or that it's just another word for 'technology' or 'science', or that it's real but we just haven't discovered or figured it out yet.
That Time I Saw A UFO
Many people are fascinated by the idea of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). They are especially intrigued about whether aliens have visited our planet in the past and continue to do so.

Studio ; Paramount, Poster Star Trek IV is probably the TOS film that has the most crossover between Trekkies and the rest of the popular culture. The success of The Voyage Home also probably paved the way for The Next Generation, and the save the whales premise, gave us something to hang our science fiction hats on. Even so, doesn’t the science fiction get overshadowed by all the action. Enjoyable for sure, but it's almost like a guy named JJ Abrams was responsible.

Brian AnonymousPublished 3 years ago in FuturismJumping Into Action
It wasn’t long into the evening when I heard it. The ear-splitting sound of a shot, being fired. A mix of adrenaline, anxiety and fear coursed through my blood as I realised the troopers had finally come. A million thoughts rushed through my head, questions making a whirlpool in my mind asking me how I would react, what I should do and what would go down. Taking a few deep breaths to calm myself, I went over our situation for the millionth time since we had been hiding out in the Wombat Ranges. We were low on ammo, guns and essential supplies, that the troopers would have… it looked like we were going to have to take a few of the trooper’s supplies, I just hope they don’t take the news too bad.
Rayne Roberts To Co-Produce 'Star Wars: The Acolyte'
Star Wars: The Acolyte is one of the various TV projects that was announced to be in development on Disney Investor Day a couple of weeks back. Headed by Leslye Headland, it has been described as a female-centric mystery thriller series set toward the end of the High Republic era (which is just beginning to get some exploration in new books and comics). Since it is set in an era that we have not seen on the screen and will be presented in a genre that we are not necessarily used to for the franchise, it sounds like it has potential to really push the boundaries of Star Wars.
