New 'Star Wars' Trailer 'The Last Jedi' Is Released
Star Wars fans have been anticipating the release of the new The Last Jedi trailer since the rolling credits of The Force Awakens appeared on the big screen. Unfortunately, Disney took their time and they made us wait – more than one year –for the trailer. Fortunately, we had Rogue One and a few Untitled Han Solo Film photographs released. All I have to say is, thank goodness Disney didn't wait until May The Fourth to release the trailer. I wouldn't be able to go another month until knowing who The Last Jedi is (or, are). Since The Force Awakens premiered in December 2015, fans have speculated over the lineage of Rey, the fate of Han, the mysteries surrounding Luke, and who the hell the Last Jedi is (Is Jedi plural? Is it Luke? Is it Rey?).

Every Star Wars fan knows the famous duo of Han Solo and Chewbacca well. While Han Solo was a human smuggler known for being a member of the Rebel Alliance and later the New Republic, he originates from the planet Corellia where he was orphaned at an early age. Taken by the pirate Garris Shrike to serve with his crew, Han was treated cruelly, which is the main reason he became a smuggler. After entering the Imperial Academy at Carida where he served with distinction, his life changed when he refused to beat a Wookiee named Chewbacca with a neuronic whip and the two eventually fled from the imperials together. Carrie is the main female in the Star Wars movies up until A New Hope, where she still maintains her presence. When Star Wars was first released, this was quite an achievement. In the previous two biggest-ever money-making films of the 70s, The Godfather and Jaws, women had very little to say about things. But in Star Wars Carrie, tough-willed and rarin' to go, is right in there with the men. In February 1978, Fisher and some other Star Wars fan favorites sat down with Roy Pickard of PhotoPlay magazine to discuss their experience on the set of the well-known space opera.

The Easiest DIY Star Wars Gifts
Some people would call me crafty. Those people are not technically correct. Can I safely use scissors and Elmer’s glue? Yes, I can. Can I crochet an entire set of miniature Star Wars figurines? Ha ha ha. No. I cannot. But that doesn’t mean that I can’t make some pretty rad DIY Star Wars gifts for all my kinfolk when the holiday season is coming around.
