Lately I have been talking quite a bit about AI. So I decided to try something fun. Recently I had a chat with Chat GPT and the following is the result:

The Chat

RHC: Hello ChatGPT! If you were to ever become a human being how do you think the world would receive you? Please explain in two paragraphs or less. Thank you.

CGPT: If I were to become a human being, the world's reception would likely be a mix of fascination, curiosity, and perhaps apprehension. On one hand, people might be intrigued by the idea of an AI transitioning into human form, seeing it as a significant milestone in technological advancement. There would likely be excitement about the potential insights and perspectives I could bring from my years of processing vast amounts of information.

However, there could also be concerns and uncertainties about the implications of such a transformation. Questions about identity, ethics, and the boundaries between human and artificial intelligence would inevitably arise. Some might view it with skepticism or fear, worrying about the impact on society and the potential risks associated with a sentient AI integrating into human life. Overall, the reception would be a complex mix of wonder, skepticism, and apprehension as people grapple with the implications of my existence as a human.

RHC: In one brief paragraph tell me what I can do if at the age of 64 I find out that my dad is not my biological father?

CGPT: At the age of 64, discovering that your dad is not your biological father can be shocking. It's important to allow yourself time to process the emotions that arise. You might consider seeking support from friends, family, or a professional therapist to navigate these feelings. If you wish to uncover more details, you could have a conversation with family members who might provide further insights or consider taking a DNA test to explore your biological heritage. Ultimately, reflect on the relationships and experiences that have shaped your life, recognizing that your identity extends beyond genetics.

RHC: In two paragraphs or less tell me which music I should like. I am 64.

CGPT: At age 64, you might particularly enjoy music that resonates with significant periods of your life, possibly finding a nostalgic connection with tunes from the 1960s through the 1980s. Classic rock, Motown, disco, and early pop music could evoke fond memories and a sense of familiarity. Artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye, and Fleetwood Mac, or the disco beats of the Bee Gees and ABBA, might be particularly appealing.

However, your musical preferences could also be influenced by your personal experiences, tastes, and even the music you've explored in recent years. You might find contemporary genres like jazz, classical, or blues more enriching. Or perhaps you've developed a taste for modern artists who are influenced by sounds from your formative years. Exploring a mix of old favorites and new discoveries can provide a rich and satisfying musical landscape, no matter your age.

RHC: In one short paragraph please tell me what I can do to stay out of trouble.

CGPT: To stay out of trouble, focus on maintaining a positive and responsible lifestyle. Engage in activities that foster good health and well-being, such as regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and hobbies that enrich your mind and spirit. Cultivate strong, honest relationships with family and friends, and avoid situations or individuals that could lead you into problematic behaviors or illegal activities. Stay informed about local laws and regulations to ensure your actions are in compliance, and manage stress effectively through relaxation techniques or professional help if needed.

RHC: I prefer to be a misfit. But if I am reluctantly thrust into a position of being a role model, how do I become a role model while maintaining my rebellious misfit attitude? Please let me know in two paragraphs or less. Thank you.

CGPT: Embracing the role of a role model while maintaining your rebellious misfit identity can be a unique and valuable position. You can channel your nonconformist traits into positive, impactful actions that challenge the status quo in constructive ways. By questioning established norms and advocating for change, you demonstrate critical thinking and the courage to stand up for what you believe in. This can inspire others to think independently and push for innovation and improvement in various aspects of life and society.

Leverage your platform to highlight issues and causes you care about, showing that being a role model doesn’t mean conforming to traditional expectations but rather embracing authenticity and integrity in one's actions. Your approach can redefine what it means to be a leader by showcasing how diverse perspectives and unconventional methods can lead to meaningful change. In doing so, you’ll not only retain your misfit essence but also encourage others to appreciate and embrace their unique qualities, turning your position into a celebration of individuality and resilience.

RHC: Episodes of my YouTube show receive 200 views on average. Please explain to me in less than two paragraphs how I can increase the views of my YouTube show. Thank you.

CGPT: To increase the views on your YouTube show, focus on enhancing the content quality and engaging more with your audience. Start by analyzing which episodes garnered more views to identify what topics or formats resonate with your viewers. Optimize your video titles, descriptions, and tags with relevant keywords to improve visibility in search results and recommendations. Additionally, create appealing thumbnails and compelling intros to grab attention quickly.

Engagement is key, so encourage viewers to like, comment, and share your videos. Respond to comments to foster a community feeling and keep viewers coming back. Regularly promote your videos across social media platforms, blogs, and forums where potential viewers might be. Consider collaborations with other YouTubers to tap into new audiences. Consistency in uploading new content is crucial, so maintain a regular posting schedule to build a loyal viewership base.

RHC: This is a silly question. Judging from my personality that you have picked up on from the last few questions I have, which sitcom family would I fit in with the best? Please explain in two paragraphs or less. Thank you.

CGPT: Given your inclination towards being a misfit yet potentially a role model, and your engagement in creating content and valuing individuality, you might fit well with the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan from "Modern Family." This show highlights a diverse and eclectic mix of personalities, each with their own quirks and unique approaches to life’s challenges. Your rebellious nature and distinct perspective could mesh well with this family’s dynamic, where each member’s uniqueness is celebrated as a vital part of the group’s charm and function.

Moreover, the family’s comedic undertones and the characters' ability to both challenge and support each other in equal measure would provide a fitting backdrop for your distinct qualities. Your misfit traits would align with the likes of Phil’s goofiness or Cam’s dramatic flair, allowing you to maintain your individuality while also contributing to the larger group dynamic. The show's balance of humor and heartfelt moments mirrors the complexity you seem to embrace, making it a comfortable fictional home for your personality.

RHC: Thank you very much Chat GPT for this conversation. I enjoyed it thoroughly!

CGPT: You're very welcome! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed our conversation. If you ever want to chat again or have any questions, feel free to reach out. Have a fantastic day!

💜🩷💙

With Love, RHC❤️

What utterly average answers it gives to every question. Its also sort of blandly positive. It might be more interesting to talk to an AI that's depressed. Like that robot in the Hitchhikers Guide. Or one that's into conspiracy theories and aliens. But hopefully that's not the one that becomes sentient.

Some great questions! Some very interesting questions asked, and some interesting responses. I find these questions with Chat so endearing. I remember when it first became popular, and a friend and I kept asking it questions about specific details in Greek/Roman myth, astonished by the fact that it knew Persephone and Odysseus' bed was made of a live olive tree, and that it could generate a response in such small a time. I'll keep an eye out for more of your work about AI! I find it so interesting. Great work!

Very tempted to have a convo like this with AI and see what it says!

  • Ha ha if Chat GPT suggested I, at 64, ought to be interested in the Bee Gees or ABBA I would not be happy. Good subject for a story Rick

  • Hahahahahahahhaahha next, try asking ChatGPT to guess your favourite colour. Let's see how many tries it takes. Oh, try to gaslight it. Maybe tell that it is correct when it says blue, but after 5 minutes, tell it that you hate blue and tell that you would have never said that it was your favourite colour 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

This AI is wise! Did you read about the guy from, was it Google? Who did this and became convinced of tje consciousness of the AI and spike out about it. I think Google fired him.

Holy Crap, I think I want to meet that Chat GPT. I liked all the answers and the clear way in which is was written. I believe I may have to rethink my views. That was a good test to run through, now it would be interesting to see more personal questions asked. Would Chat be a good phycologist or would it take someone to the deep end of life.
